If it walks like a wackadoodle and it talks like a wackadoodle ..it's a wackadoodle.

McT, you forgot Lily Allen. It seems like every time I open a UK article online about music (usually searching for the Mac of course), Lily is doing something dumb.

As for Sarah Palin, geez. I'm Australian and I live in Tulsa now.. and I love Tulsa, but hot damn people are way off the beaten path in this state. Probably more than 50% of people here support her (at least as a politician).

The really sad thing for me isn't that she's running for office, beause that's just a joke to me, it's when people think she's some sort of neo-con feminist. She's NOT, maybe sort of by proxy of her being a female leader.. but in my opinion, she supports us going back to the bad old days.. McCain the 'maverick' was a major conservative, she's no better.

Anyway.. I just come here for the Mac, so I'm done now.

Me too. And I live here in the U.S.

There's something about Sarah Palin that makes me think she's probably fun to hang out with.

I'd like to take her to the gay stripper-bar.

McT, McT ? That's a bit familiar isn't it? Only kidding, I like it!

Now that's a mighty shift from Australia to Oklahoma! I've loads of family in Townsville - that anywhere near where you're from? Would love to know anyhow as I've been to a fair few places in the wonderful Oz!

In a way she is a neo-con feminist because they would have her at home barefoot and pregnant but she is out "working". She's only around because she's attractive and has that odd charm about her. America can be so vapid. I am so bored with her. I also HATE when she is called governor Palin. She frikkin' quit that job. She's an intelligence-challenged quitter!

I don't think I've ever heard her called 'Governor Palin' following her resignation. Perhaps that's because I don't watch Fox News, though.

And yeah, her being a quitter yet being a patron saint of the right wing utterly baffles me. Right wingers are all about being tough, about never showing your weakness or admitting your mistakes, while painting left wingers as soft & vulnerable. Yet Sarah Palin is a quitter of the worst kind. She quits offices she's elected to. And right wingers continually paint Obama as a pansy, yet he's still doing his job, and he found and killed public enemy #1: Bin Laden (something his predecessor was unable or unwilling to do). The hypocrisy of it all is pretty staggering.

I just want her to go away. I thought it was funny when somebody asked Barbara Bush what she thought of Sarah Palin, and she said "I sat next to her on a plane once. I think she's very beautiful and very happy in Alaska, and I hope she stays there."

I saw it in print a couple of times surrounding that stupid bus tour story.

It truly is, they have an allergy to the truth.

Supposedly she wanted to see Margaret Thatcher but she refused because she thinks Palin is crazy and not in her league.

I mean. I think she has electability.
For the people that don't necessarily follow politics, consider themselves to be republican, or just vote out of looks alone. I think she's a fine candidate.

Unfortunately, there is a population of America that DOES vote that way.

Being stated, I think President Obama is doing a fantastic job, and will surely have almost no issues against whatever candidate is chosen from the GOP

I heartily disagree. She may rally the Republican base, but she has zero chance of winning a national election. Elections are decided by Independent voters. Palin is way too radical for Independents. There's no doubt Palin has breathed new life into the Republican party, and she's changing the face of conservatism. However, she's just a sideshow act. She'll never, ever be president. I'd argue that even if she became a running mate for another candidate, that they'd automatically lose the presidential race. Palin is simply too inflammatory & polarizing.

I completely agree with this all
The only thing I'm saying is, during the 2008 elections, I thought she was hot. And didn't know anything about her stances. I would've voted for her, because I was uneducated.

She has electability... for the uneducated/aroused population :P

If Thatcher thinks she's too right-wing, then you know it's bad.

And no, Palin has zero chance of winning a general election. So do Gingrich, Bachman, & Santorum. Romney or Pawlenty might be able to pull it off if they play their cards right, but it'll be dicey. Actually, I can't imagine any of the current contenders being the GOP nominee. Romney is the only one who isn't blatantly bat-**** crazy.

I would use an applause GIF from Tumblr to respond to this, but I'm on a library computer. Just know that I am clapping for you over there.
