Sarah Palin running for president?

I guess this is just a rumour. However, I hope she does run. SNL will have a field day and it will be an easy victory for the democrats.

The woman is a blithering idiot...isn't there SOME sort of IQ test they have to pass?

This is exactly how I feel. As long as there are court jesters like Palin & Gingrich shaking their tambourines, Obama will easily win reelection.

Somebody needs to bring out the hook, her 15 minutes has LONG been up. (that goes for her carb loading daughter, too)

Actually I find her kind of entertaining. You can't make up the sh*t she says. She's even dumber than Bush.

I honestly don't think she can win a Republican primary. At least, I really, really hope not. Tina Fey sketches are glorious, but they are not worth seeing her presented to the world as the voice of half of America. Just listening to her understanding of Paul Revere, I really don't want to believe that that many Americans want to see her as our leader.

That said...

Yeah, this is harsh. I'm rabidly pro-choice, but this is harsh.

Also harsh. Steve, you seem like a cool guy, but is that really necessary?

Listen, folks, I truly can't stand Sarah Palin, but I often feel like she gets the majority of the country so riled up that we go places we shouldn't. Calling her a good reason for abortion and mocking her 20-year-old daughter's normal, healthy body? Not places we need to go, IMO.:sorry:

I tend to think that Ms. Palin gives us more than enough to make fun of that we needn't resort to her kids' bodies.

I agree. This is why I never, ever click on a news story with her name in the headline. As long as news outlets think people are interested in her, they'll keep throwing her antics in our faces. If we ignore her, she might eventually fade away. :D

bluefox4000 06-07-2011 08:04 PM

Well I Deleted my prior post.....cause damn it I felt bad afterwards. (Curse my good upbringing) However, She's still a moron who has no business being where she is. THAT i will not delete:nod:

Oh, it's already too late. The world already knows that America=Idiocracy. I was horrified a few years ago during a video conference at work with Switzerland and the UK. The organizer opened the meeting with Joe the Plumber jokes. Really? I realized the U.S. presidential election was a big international story, but I had no idea that they were as engaged in the process as us Americans. Surely the world also saw Sarah Palin commanding cheering throngs of thousands while at the same time fumphering like an idiot in front of Katie Couric. And don't forget this is the country that was so stupid that it elected Bush twice. If anything, it has been a total fluke that we finally elected a well-spoken, articulate, intelligent, compassionate president. It probably won't happen again.

Speaking as a "foreigner", it's a great deal of fun and very entertaining for us over here to watch her!

We are kind of scratching our heads and asking is she for real, while at the same time looking forward to her next little gem.

This.

I think when she was first announced as McCain's running mate (is that the correct term? I don't know much about American Politics) our media had a field day. I think the question every paper was asking was "Who is this strange, strange woman and where the hell did he find her?"

GypsySorcerer 06-08-2011 08:26 AM

I've heard that some in the Republican leadership secretly want to her to run and lose, so then they and everyone else can move on. I have doubts she could win the Republican primary, anyway.

Palin is a lightning rod; nothing more. She continues to milk her 15 minutes, and media enable her.

Hmmmm, we have the same thing with Cheryl Cole, Katie Price, Kerry Katona, Peter Andre - the media never lets up and the public continue to lap it up!

Couldn't agree more. If Palin gets the GOP nomination, Obama wins in a landslide. I hope she gets the nomination and goes down in a crushing defeat...the incompetent fool she is. "I can see Russia from my house"
