So last fall I sent in a letter saying that Stevie Nicks should be on the show
Dear Oprah In all the years of having interviewed many singers and songwriters there is one person you have never interviewed and that is Stevie Nicks. I am one of the biggest fans of Stevie Nicks and have always wanted to meet her in person. I think her story is very interesting and she has such an amazing voice. I became a fan when my father was talking about a band that had a female singer and how he liked them. I didn't know who he was talking about until I started going through their LP collection and found the Rumours album. That was the start of a lifelong obsession with everything related to Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks. I have travelled to NYC and Philadelphia to attend shows when she hasn't come to Canada which is where I live. Why I enjoy her music so much is that she has written most of her songs herself and she has this very unique voice that really pulls you in. Her stage presence always feels so magical and mysterious at the same time. My favorite songs of hers are Landslide and Has Anyone Ever Written Anything for You. I would love to have the chance to hear her sing live on Oprah. That would be the dream of a lifetime. In my opinion she is the queen of Rock and Roll. She has a new CD coming out in the spring so it would be perfect timing to have her on your show. Thank you very much Matt Denison I was at work this evening and I got this email from a producer at Harpo that stated that they want more information on my story including a recent photo and a contact number. The email looks very legit so I think it is on the up and up. I can't believe this is happening. This is beyond amazing. I don't know what this all about in terms of me being on the show or just being in the audience. I will keep you posted as to what happens |
