As I recall, Lindsey dueted with Stevie 's song "Twisted," where he sang and played. That, to me, was the closest thing to a Buckingham Nicks reunion.

Worst follow-up question. Ever.

It does kind of turn me on. I mean, if you refer to your spouse you usually just say their first name and figure that if anyone is even remotely familiar with you they know exactly who you're talking about, so I like Stevie to just say Lindsey, rather than to say "Lindsey Buckingham, the guy I was dating when I joined Fleetwood Mac." I like just tossing off a "Lindsey," like he's her old man.

I like it the way Cher will refer to Sonny Bono the same way. Lots of times she'll be talking and just say, "Son used to . . ." so we get just a nickname thrown in and the world is supposed to know whom she means.

Now, Dave is getting all familiar with the Lindseys too. Maybe he and Lindsey hooked up!

Right. But we also know who played the drums on this record... If Stevie and Lindsey were eve to work together on some new songs, I am sure that Mick would find a way to force himself onto the project (with John as a package deal). And, before you know it, Warner Bros. would smell the big money and we're back in 1986 or 1997.
By the way, "Twisted" is one of my favourite songs; they really should have played it live during the Unleashed tour.

I'm the opposite - I hate when she does that. She's assuming everyone knows who they are, and about their past relationship. While many people do, there are tons of people (especially younger people) who think Stevie's a guy & Lindsey's a chick and/or who have no clue about their history.

Even less people know when Dave Stewart does it. If you're just a fan of his and not into Stevie, when he says "Lindsey" you probably really are thinking "Lindsay Lohan," because that's the only one you know.

I would bet that that is the plan.

I wouldn't bet on it ever happening, however.

Yes, it would be beyond cool.

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.
