I’m sorry you don’t like the White Album version of Crystal, as it’s one of my favorite FM songs ever. There’s something about Lindsey singing words that he would never have written himself that makes the song even more unique, to hear a man singing those words. I’ve always wondered why/how Lindsey ended up singing that song. I like to imagine Lindsey connected with the lyrics and asked to sing it.

I agree with Mitzo, Crystal is a beautiful song, but Stevie’s vocal for the remake was awful. Simply too late in her career to sing the song. Maybe years earlier she could have done it justice.

Keith Olsen said Lindsey's voice suited the song much better.
