Running Through The Garden Demo

That's the official title that Stevie copyrighted in January 1986 along with a cassette of the song.

"The Charmed Ones (Song For The City of Hope)"

The music, IIRC, is by the guys who wrote the music for "Running Through The Garden" & "Battle of The Dragon". Lyrics are Stevie's, of course.

I always thought it was The Wild Heart, as well, but I was wrong.

I agree with you , Mike, voice wise I would've never thought it was 1986 that it was recorded thats for sure....It really seemed like it was for WH but I guess those thoughts are wrong. I do love this song I just wish we had the 'full' completed version of this song....its totally awesome!!! I also like the song 'It takes a Long Time' another song that I have thats 'cut' too. I wonder if this is the sametime as City of Hope song cause her voice is similar too?? Do you know more about this song also Mike?? Its a shame so many wonderful songs were left off RAL or MM too me. It really could've been a great LP/cd......IMO......it just seems like RAL lacked some direction ....maybe cause of all the different producers & how Stevie was doing at that point in time......
