Maybe the extra insurance to have her on regulation platforms costs too much... It's too risky to have her floating around on those.

Maybe Stevie is getting to old for the platforms, maybe it's just more comfortable for her. It also could be that she may have some foot/leg/condition

I understand her not wanting to wear platforms anymore, but surely she could find something better than those.

Well I remember that article in was it like May or June where she said she wasn't retiring? I think it was that article where she said the boots really do kill her feet bad...I think she said there that she was gonna start breaking out the sneaker boots and maybe pull the platforms out again at the end of the show. SYW she had hip trouble right? So ya know she's in pain and Mac shows are like an hour longer than solo shows and are more intense longer tours ......so I think the boots hit her harder for Mac shows~

She has more money than she can spend, and I know they could come up with something more appealing. Plus, they make her look really awkward in photos. IMO.

Why not a wedge or something with a big platform and a small heel. Anything...

Isnt her whole thing that she doesnt wanna go back to being short? Idk... I understand wanting to be taller, but you gotta draw the line somewhere.

She is obviously experiencing foot pain and discomfort in a big way. She has rocked out in boots for many many years, and she has tried to continue to do that, but it seems to me she has the need for comfort, and if she has to wear sneakers, or orthodic shoes to achieve that comfort, rock on. I know we would rather see the boots at every show, but I'm just glad to still be able to see Stevie rock out period.

Why are you all acting like this is some big horrible revelation. Shes been wearing those for the last 3/4s of the tour. She wears them start of the show until she leaves for Big Love. She comes back in red boots, then she has her new actual boot boots Stand Back til the end of the show.

And I'm think im the only person on this board who doesnt care if she wore those flat things all concert. it really doesnt matter to me, as long as shes comfortable and continues to sing like an angel as she has on the unleashed tour.
