Anyway... The word was likely thrown out there that she was interested in selling if there were any takers, at the time - Dec, 2007.

Here's the Real Estate blog that initially posted about the house being on the market.

That.house.is.beautiful. Dani, let's buy it and live like the sisters in Practical Magic. I shouldn't be allowed to post whilst on pain meds.

I HATE WISDOM TEETH.

“I’m keeping my big house because I have my pianos, I can record there, but I really live in a very small, albeit very beautiful place. I’m looking straight at the ocean right now and I just love it."

All I was saying what just that she still ownes the place, and from these words we know it isn't on the market at the moment.

I got your point perfectly. I remembered that the house was on the market at one point. And for all we know, it STILL might be. That's what my whole diatribe about exclusive listings was about. We should all know that what comes out of Ms Nicks mouth can't always be believed, and is often exaggerated or stretched. She could still have the place on the market, and just be trying to find some use for it in the meantime as a place to do interviews/photo shoots/and record. I suspect in this market, she has pulled up the for sale sign tho... I don't imagine too many $14million places are changing hands right now!

I love how she thinks her 3,000+ square foot ocean front condo is "very small." My condo isn't even a third that size... the woman has probably had bigger closets than my whole place!

Yes like I Said before you were right that it was on the market. But we can safely assuming it's not on the market now because she says in this recent interview thta she is keeping it.

Stevie is an amazing economist though.

Yup. We'll go visit Mama Nicks and tell her that we'll make sure that house stays nice and beautiful when she is away if she adopts us.

Deal? Deal.

I agree with you. The reason she gave was lame and whether or not it's on the market now, she'd probably jump at the chance to sell.
