Wish me luck

[mikeschmike]

I put my biases (and doubts )aside and decided to head downtown tomorrow morning and register for an audition for American Idol. I think it will be fun, and at the very worst I get a few days off from work. Maybe I'll get through to Hollywood, and maybe I won't. I know that I won't end up on the blooper reel, or one of those poor souls that think they're a stellar performer when really their voice resembles a yak dying. If anything I want to get close enough to smell what Paula Abdul is drinking.

Cross your fingers for me!

Oh and if you have a really good song you'd like to suggest, let me know. Something that shows a good range, a strong vocal, and nothing that you see every year (Stevie Wonder, Motown, etc).
