Personally, the thought of a person being married to multiple people doesn't really concern me considering I have nothing to do with those type of marriages unless I was involved in one myself.

The problem here among the public lies in the fact that those fundamentalists keep women from getting educations and being able to speak up for their choice to have a child or not. If a marriage is set up like that - then it is obviously wrong - granted, it would be just as wrong if it were one husband and one submissive wife as well.

If everyone in the relationship is on equal ground both socially and educational-levels, then they're just adults living their lives the way that they want...

I don't have a problem in principle. But these relationships are notorious for physical, mental, and sexual abuse of the wives and the children. The fact that the people who engange in these relationships have secluded compounds and have little contact with anybody else in society doesn't sit well with me, either.

unfortunately I dont think you can get away with that sort of setup unless you were in Utah or Montana or Wyoming (in a remote area in other words...)
