No, I don't think so.

I wouldn't associate "angst" with:

Peter Green
Jeremy Spencer
Danny Kirwan
Bob Brunning
John McVie
Mick Fleetwood
Bob Welch
Dave Walker
Bob Weston
Christine McVie
Stevie Nicks
Rick Vito
Billy Burnette
Bekka Bramlett
Dave Mason

It's pretty much a Lindsey Buckingham monopoly on "angst" in Fleetwood Mac. Now, "stoned"...yeah, "Everybody Must Get Stoned"!!!

I've always had the opinion that he IS. But he can manage it. I ALWAYS love it when he's on that Ledge.

Ok, so you'd think my favorite version would be one that included Peter Green, right? Wrong. It's the live version from 1987 that was on the B-side of the "As Long As You Follow" single...with Billy Burnette on lead vocals & Rick Vito on lead guitar. (and a post-production Dobro overdub on the intro riff)

IDIOT! (slaps self upside the head) I shouldve known that.

angst: a feeling of anxiety or apprehension often accompanied by depression.

I think that fits those two perfectly, especially Danny.

Confession time .... I have never actually heard the studio version of this song. *ducks for cover*

But! I have heard the 1980 Live version and the Tango in the Night version and like this song an awful lot. It's one of the few that I think Billy and Rick [or Rilly and Bick, as I keep calling them by accident ] do better than Lindsey.

Just my 0.02.
