Digital Cameras

[LikeAWillow]

I'm finally giving in to the technology age and buying myself a digital camera...the only problem is I know absolutely nothing about them. Does anyone here have a favorite they can recommend or any brand that they know is good? There is a slight catch though, I have a very very small budget for this, I don't think I'll be able to spend more than $250.00. I'd appreciate any help you can give, I'll probably be going out tonight to make my big purchase
