It's grim but never dubious as motives go
No matter what it takes she promises a show

an oldie but a goodie:

row row row your boat, gently down the stream
merrily merrily merrily merrily, life is but a dream

Default Let's see...is this Shakespeare's Sonnet 147?

I think that's the right one

It ends with

"For I have sworn thee fair and thought thee bright
Who art as black as hell and dark as night"

That has applied to my relationships far, far too many times.

For real.

Depress me more whydontcha? I'm already depressed that Pride and Prejudice is coming out next week and I have no date to watch it with....This thought has been engraved in my brain since the previews come out. All I want is a nice romantic dinner and a movie....dammit.

I go to Stevie and FM concerts alone all the time.

And my best friend is moving away in 2 weeks.

And Hillary's couplet? Yeah, that would work pretty fine for my relationship history.

I like that one! That made me start humming the song. I'll post the chords later.

I don't know if that's a couplet or if you're really asking?

Good one. That reminds me of the movie Beautiful Girls where at the high school reunion a guy tells Lauren Holly's character how she was really something else in high school - beautiful. "But you were as mean as a snake." I knew plenty of girls like that. And boys.
