I really don't care for any of them. So I flipped a coin. Elvis won.

Sharon, you are truly evil for making me choose between these three. Presley is a Capricorn, I am a Capricorn and we Capricorns stick together. Plus, I love him. How's that for reasoning?

[markolas]

OMG...you're killing me. These are three of my favorites! I can't decide...but I think it's between Roy & Johnny. Roy definitely has the best voice of the three, and I like a lot of his songs. I like a lot of Johnny's songs, too, but his voice is so different from Roy Orbison's...it's hard to compare! I'm having a major crisis here, as you can see...

[EDIT] I looked at the poll and saw that Roy only has 2 votes. So, out of sympathy, I'm voting for Roy.

I can see where you're coming from.....and although It's Cash for me, I'm really glad you voted for roy...................

[Serrart]

Elvis Presley, his concerts were the most awesome I've ever seen (on TV )

Romy

[Nico]

Johnny all the way!!!!! I love Elvis and I love Roy, completely. I think Presley is one of the most captivating performers who ever lived, and Roy Orbison was an outstanding singer and songwriter...but Johnny? Man, he is one of the loves of my life.

[trackaghost]

Come on people, break the Cash/Presley tie please!

Ditto. Except Cash won.

I went with Johnny Cash.

[GypsySorcerer]

I love, love, love Johnny Cash, but I ultimately went with Elvis...such charisma and what a voice.

Wow. Round 8 is a tough choice. Very hard...may have gotten a grey hair even.
I really hesitated clicking that button and voting.

Alas, I have gone with Elvis. He's got some great stuff in his lengthy catalog and I really love 'Suspicious Minds' and his live version of 'Walk A Mile In My Shoes' rules.

I like some of Johnny Cash's songs, but I can't say that I really love any of them. The only Johnny Cash cd I own is Unchained, which I bought only because of the contributions of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Lindsey Buckingham.

So that left Orbison and Presley, both of whom I really love and both of whom, IMO, rank as some of the greatest male vocalists ever. It was a tough choice but in the end I had to choose Roy. His involvement in the Traveling Wilburys was the deciding factor.
