Sharon, you're killing me here.

OK, former headbanger checking in. This was the hardest one so far for me. I literally had my arrow hovering over the choices for a few minutes before ulitmately deciding on Metallica.

Bon Jovi - my first real favorite band. Obsessive was my love (from age 11 to age 15.) But alas, they are 80's cheese at its best. I still like them, don't get me wrong. But they are not the best of the 3.

That leaves GnR & Metallica. So. Appetite For Destruction is, IMO, one of the greatest albums ever. In any genre. I still listen to it quite often, and I adore every song. They were great, and I truly believe they could have been legendary. Of course, Axl f*cked that up, didn't he. Use Your Illusion I&II? Eh. They're OK, but by then he was a prima donna & the music started becoming secondary to the image.

Metallica wins it for me, folks. Their first 4 full-length studio albums (Kill 'Em All, Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppet & ...And Justice For All) are incredible. They are one of a kind. THIS was metal music, not the hair bands (although I was listening to them too, lol.) After 1990 or so, they changed & I lost interest. But man, while they were good, they were awesome.

guns and roses. because metalwise I prefer black sabbath and soundgarden above metallica. GNR it is. for one of the best debuts ever.

Exclamation Metallica...

Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, Garage Days Re-Revisited & ...And Justice For All still sound great to me...

Whereas Appetite for Destruction sounds very dated (I like GNR, But "that" band doesnt exist anymore...And I do not care for the lame Velvet Revolver, Most overrated band in rock! Most of the metalheads I know think VR is GNR-lite.) and of course Jon Bon Jovi (aka Jon Bland-Jobi) is a lamest poser of all time (Only talent in Bon Jovi is Richie Sambora, His first solo album "Stranger in this Town" smokes ALL of the Bon Jovi songs...COMBINED!!! Listen to "Mr.Bluesman" and the Eric Clapton solo...Nuff said.)

Personally I would rather see European metal bands than American bands anyday of the week, month & year.

Btw, Being that I was a former moderator for a GNR website I have grown oh so sick of hearing people bash Axl for the band's demise...Sorry folks, The truth of the demise lies with others who seem to constantly cry/whine about it....Hey, it is a permanent divorce, people need to get over it.

Guns N Roses. It's a purely emotional decision. I actually like the other two bands but am just going with what I've ben listening to most lately.

what I am currently listening to, None of the 3 bands would make the list:

"Octavarium"-Dream Theater
"Comalies"-Lacuna Coil (Great Italian band...Evanescence just wished they could have had that kinda talent!)
"Tell No Tales-TNT
Any album by Helloween
"Red, White & Crue"-Motley FN Crue
"Blast from the Past"-Gamma Ray
"W.A.R.P.E.D."-Chris Caffery

All three of them give me the dry heaves. I voted for Bon Jovi because at least he has a nice little ass.

I used to have some nude pics of him on my old pc (shot from the side with his thigh hiding his naughty bits) that an old internet buddy sent me...

He has a really nice bod... I thought about photoshopping someone else's head over his smiling blond mug, but never got around to it.

I would have much preferred KISS....guess I am the only KISS fan around here but no matter, I cast my vote for Metallica, but only because of "Nothing Else Matters". I cant STAND Axl Rose and I couldnt remember any Bon Jovi songs so I guess they didnt make much of an impression.

It has to be Metallica. The other two don't even come close.

Very well said Paula. I totally relate.
