If you do that I'll have Betty White and Bob Barker show up with every puking dog they can drive over.

Anyway - the move has done a number on my poor dog. I got her a special treat our first night at the new place - and as luck would have it - it made her totally sick. I think it was combo of that and nerves - but around 7 in the morning she climbs into my bed, puts her head on my stomach which at first I think is cute -then she hacks and vomits on me

I get up to discover dog vomit on the couch and in various places on the floor throughout the apartment.

It was gross.

So fast forward to yesterday evening. I am once and for all going to get serious about shedding some pounds and eating better - so I thought I'd have one last hurrah! I got a Peanut Butter Dream Bar at Mrs. Fields Cookies - I had that, along wtih a mini-chocolate chip cookie in the little paper bag - I set it down - went to get a glass of milk - I came back and all that I found was a small sliver of the bag and Clancy looking all sorry and pathetic.

I was so mad - then panicked because she'd eaten chocolate. So I called the animal emergency line and then told me to induce vomiting which apparently can be done with hydrogen peroxide.

It was ugly. She threw up A LOT! mostly outside- but when I thought she was done I was mistaken....and well lets just say Clancy and I had a rocky start in our new apartment.

On another note - I am LOVING the new Harry Potter. And Willy Wonka reminded me of Michael Jackson and freaked me out.

Good day to you all

Awwww. I read this - and I don't know if my "awwww" was louder for poor you - or poor Clancy. Equally, I guess. What a crappy weekend. Poor doggy sounds like she was just a little stressed by it all.

Glad she's better and that you're all settled in. I maintain that moving sucks no matter what. I'm with you 100% on the movers. First time I ever hired movers, I was like, why did I wait til now??? (insert smiley banging its head against a brick wall) They are well worth the $$.

Hope you love your new place.

Uhhggg... I can't even imagine your reaction when the vet told you to induce (more!) vomiting! Glad she's better, hopefully no more vomiting for a really long time!

So, the new Harry Potter is good? I haven't read any of the books or seen any of the movies. I feel so left out!

I haven't either, but I'm not sweating it.
