Well to begin with I thought that was spot on (I'm a Them) but the last few are completely off. I'm definitely a Wild Heart gal although I love Bella Donna too.

I guess I'm in the category : "OTHERS" lol cuz I dont like much of RAL but love TOSOTM. I do prefer John Shanks production..I like the Planets demo and TISL version equally..do LOVE when she does stand back at shows..
However, I think Bella Donna is better than Wild Heart. I really like Love Changes, but not Sister Honey (hate it), and Maybe Love..."Greta" is ok, dont like "Affairs of the heart," but do like "Ghosts"

I dont think im an US or a THEM

US

rank the "Rock A Little" album as one of their top 3 favorite Stevie albums

THEM

rank the "Rock A Little" album as their least favorite (That would be Street Angel, but RAL is down there with it. )

US

loves "The Other Side Of The Mirror" album (I do love it.)

Them

does not love it at all

US

prefers John Shanks production on TISL

THEM

prefers Sheryl Crow's production on TISL (Most definitely. Shanks sucks.)

US

prefers the TISL version of "Planets Of The Universe"

THEM

prefers the original demo from 1976 (Absolutely!)

US

loves when Stevie performs "Stand Back" live at her shows

THEM

want her to drop "Stand Back" and do "Violet And Blue" instead (I'd spray my shorts.)

US

think "The Wild Heart" album is better than "Bella Donna" (It is.)

THEM

think "Bella Donna" is better than "The Wild Heart" album

US

really like "Sister Honey", "Love Changes", and "Maybe Love"

THEM

prefers "Greta", "Affairs Of The Heart", and "Ghosts" instead

(I like none of those songs.)

US = 2
THEM = 4

I suppose I'm a "them."

I'm definitely an US girl, with the exception of the Bella Donna/Wild Heart debate- that one I'm torn on.

I don't agree with the defined US and THEM breakdown; it is not consistent. I think the breakdown is along the lines of whether people prefer the dark, ethereal, haunting aspect of her music or the rocking, upbeat aspect. It's also along the lines of whether people prefer the younger voice (pre 1985) or the older voice.

So if US is defined as the people who prefer the younger voice and the more upbeat/rocking material, and THEM is defined as the people who prefer the mature voice with the more dark, ethereal, haunting material:

US
-Prefers the Rumours "Silver Springs" to the Dance "Silver Springs"
-Prefers the Fleetwood Mac Live 1980 "Landslide" to the Dance "Landslide"
-Prefers the Rumours "GDW" to the Dance "GDW"
-Prefers the POTU demo vs. the TISL version.
-Prefers Sheryl Crow vs. John Shanks on TISL
-Prefers "The Tower" demo to "Goodbye Baby"
-Prefers "The Wild Heart" vs. "Bella Donna"
-Hates the Street Angel album but likes "Rose Garden" and "Maybe Love"
-Did not care for much of Stevie's SYW songs
-Did not care for Rock a Little but likes "If I Were You" and "Some Become Strangers"
-Favorite Mirage song is "Gypsy."

THEM
-Prefers the Dance "Silver Springs" to the Rumours "Silver Springs"
-Prefers the Dance "Landslide" to any album version
-Prefers the Dance "GDW" to the Rumours "GDW"
-Prefers the TISL version of POTU vs. the demo
-Prefers John Shanks vs. Sheryl Crow on TISL
-Prefers "Goodbye Baby" to "The Tower"
-Likes much of the Street Angel album.
-Loved Stevie's SYW songs, especially "Destiny Rules" and "Illume"
-Loves Rock a Little
-Considers TISL to be one of her best albums
-Prefers Bella Donna to the Wild Heart
-Favorite Mirage song is "Straight Back"

I'm a proud THEM

I'm an US in the original thread but much more of a THEM in this one (with the exception of loving her SYW songs, preferring BD to WH, and favoring Straight Back on Mirage). Something's off here!

I think I'm a THUS or an UM. I see the point of the 'us' and 'them' categorization, because there certainly is a division among Stevie fans over her material, but the line is so jagged, and goes in every direction......so that it becomes impossible to actually split everyone onto one side or the other.
