US and THEM!
 

I was having a discussion the other day with someone and i noticed a common theme amongst Stevie fans... i have realized that there are two very distinct types of fans out there: US and THEM

"US" fans and "THEM" fans enjoy Stevie in very different ways.. let me break it down a little, so you can see what i mean...



US

rank the "Rock A Little" album as one of their top 3 favorite Stevie albums

THEM

rank the "Rock A Little" album as their least favorite


US

loves "The Other Side Of The Mirror" album

Them

does not love it at all


US

prefers John Shanks production on TISL

THEM

prefers Sheryl Crow's production on TISL


US

prefers the TISL version of "Planets Of The Universe"

THEM

prefers the original demo from 1976


US

loves when Stevie performs "Stand Back" live at her shows

THEM

want her to drop "Stand Back" and do "Violet And Blue" instead


US

think "The Wild Heart" album is better than "Bella Donna"

THEM

think "Bella Donna" is better than "The Wild Heart" album


US

really like "Sister Honey", "Love Changes", and "Maybe Love"

THEM

prefers "Greta", "Affairs Of The Heart", and "Ghosts" instead



of course, everyone is going to have their own personal preferences and not everyone is going to fit into either category in every way.. but if you had to identify with either "US" or "THEM", which would you be?
