Oh, man, and if you've been watching people post their pics, *Pattie* you must have plenty of new fodder!!! Did you see that boob shot in Pattie's thread?
I am truly humbled.... Those are two very magical birds, my friend!

Yeah, but you got to meet some cool people
Just like I did.
Thanks for helping to make up for some of the poopyheads I encountered in Long Island tonight!

Love,
Gypsy

The worst crowd in the history of concerts was attending the show there tonight... you know the same crowd that goes to EVERY show there... there was hardly any applause the whole night and everyone sat in their seat.. no clapping, no cheering... god i hate that place...

... oh yeah, but Stevie was fabulous

Yay 'typical assemblage'!
Yay for us middle aged home-dyed blondes, fags, their hags, Wicca chicks and hippies!

Excellent characterization. Count me in!

I would bet my Tango tourbook Mick was at the show. New York Show...Mick and Stevie are great friends...Stevie is very close to Lynn, Mick's wife and Godmother to his twins....I bet they came in for a visit. She says his name in OTR every single night....
I am sure BaTB was dedicated to Mick if he was at the show.

I hate Jones Beach because of the security.

I've never touched Stevie, either. She always seems to swoop over me.

I'm originally from Long Island and saw Stevie for the first time at Jones Beach- I don't remember it being bad, but of course we are talking like, 1985 here.

First of all: Stevie was AMAZING last night, her voice has never sounded better and BATB brought tears to my eyes! And on the Stevie/Don duets she just blows him away, especially on Hotel California. (sorry, Don...) I am SO glad I made the trip form Europe to see her last night :-)

I was sitting right next to the aisle that was used for backstage access and Mick and Billy Joel walked past several times. During Edge Of Seventeen Mick was ushered to the stage so I was expecting him to make an appearance during the song, banging some kind of drum... ;-) But then after the song he was rushed back to where he was sitting without anything happening. Seemed a bit weird to me...

All in all it was a great show, my section all stood during the entire show, so I wasn't complaining. And she made me forget about the cold. I had to leave during Don's set (after Stevie left of course) to get some hot chocolate to try and get warm. I was even tempted to buy the horrible hooded sweater thing haha.

Rick

PS if anyone has recorded the show, please PM me because I would be very interested!

[QUOTE=lagringader&r]Ok, now I'm back on the *is she banging Mick* thing. Why is she just randomly saying his name at awkward moments? /QUOTE]

Mick was at the show... He and Billy Joel were standing in the Mixing Booth or what ever you call it..
