I'm not certain of these things, but Pip probably has a point there. I can't imagine there's a way that you could protect them legally when they have to be "unofficial" because you don't have the artist's permission. In that case, all bets are off, technically. I understand that it's nice, respectful, and just the right thing to do for someone to put your name on them, but I don't see how anyone could be under legal obligation to do so.

Yes and she would get royalties even FM would get royalties but it would keep people from hi-jacking my stuff and I would be able to take legal action against guilty parties. But I dont want to do that...although I have already looked up info on how to do go about copyrighting. People do it all the time. Look at Planets...Big Love (the new remixes)..it happens.

It must be a snarky thing..lol love that word..I really dont care..I am not passing judgement on anyone by any of these comments so it really dont bother me. Everyone has a right to say what they feel. Now if anyone holds a grudge from this thread then that is just pathetic LOL. I guess because I didnt find the answer to my question it is time to move on.
