Break Down of Street Angel

[teedee]

I always liked this album even tho most dissed it. the only song i have trouble listening to is street angel, other than that i have always enjoyed it.

Grab other people by their clothes on the street and force them to listen: "Blue Denim".

Play them in the stereo once in a while so the roommate might see the light: "Destiny", "Docklands", "Maybe Love Will Change Your Mind", "Street Angel".

Something that the open-minded might appreciate: "Kick It"; "Greta", "Jane", "Love Is Like A River".

Would play these for others only when working in a factory with earplugs on: "Unconditional Love", "Listen To The Rain".

Taking some valium might help me get through these: "Rose Garden", "Just Like A Woman".

Good: Blue Denim, Docklands, Destiny, Kick It

Okay: Listen to the Rain, Rose Garden, Maybe Love Will Change Your Mind, Love is Like a River

Dreadful: Greta, Street Angel, Unconditional Love, Just Like a Woman, Jane

I really like it was well and I think her voice soars on it.

The only songs I dislike are Docklands (which has one or two good moments but none worthy of Stevie IMO) and Listen to the Rain, which I think rocks, but is just too off for me.

I LOVE Jane.

A gift from the Gods:....hmmm... "Maybe Love Will Change Your Mind"

Really good songs: "Blue Denim", "Rose Garden", "Street Angel", "Jane" (in spite of that monkey line)

So-so: "Docklands", "Just Like A Woman", "Destiny", "Kick It"

Terrible: "Unconditional Love", "Greta", "Listen To The Rain", "Love Is Like A River"

[shane]

The ones that helped: Destiny, Blue Denim, Love Is Like A River, Street Angel, Maybe Love Will Change Your MInd, Listen to The Rain, Kick It

Good in the right mood: Jane, Rose Garden

Almost in the worst category: Greta

Leave these off and it would have been a great cd: Docklands...why oh why or why..... and Just Like A Woman.

You don't think Listen To The Rain is even more of a rocker than this one?

No. I think Listen To the Rain is a mess.

Love Is Like A River is the most rocking song on the record, IMO.

Not when compared to Love Is Like A River.

Alright, (I don't believe that's a word but I'll use it as a shout-out to one of my fave FM tunes) this was a Christmas gift so I think I'm ready to do the rating thing, or at least the initial reaction thing.

I'll probably wind up copying several people's rating systems.

Um, none of them seem to call for this emoticon

"Blue Denim" (though I like the Enchanted box set version better), "Listen to the Rain," "Love is Like a River," "Maybe Love Will Change Your Mind"

"Destiny" (nice, but not "Enchanted"--and it steals Enchanted's lyrics too much)

"Docklands," "Greta," "Kick it"

"Rose Garden," "Just Like a Woman," "Street Angel"

"Jane," "Unconditional Love"
