Spermatazoa: Docklands, Just Like a Woman

Wart on the ass of a spermatazoa: Unconditional Love, Greta

I was going to give "Greta" an even LOWER rating, but then that would be lower than I gave "The Nightmare", which is the worst song Stevie ever released.... So, there you have it!

Again, props to Hawkeye for starting these threads, which are very cool...

I enjoy this album. My ears don't have a problem with it.

I've made it very clear that I love Street Angel.

AMAZING: Kick It, Docklands, Blue Denim, Love Is Like a River, Street Angel, Destiny, Just Like a Woman

REALLY Good: Listen to the Rain, Jane

Good: Maybe love Will Change Your Mind, Greta

Would be good song but HORRID vocals: Rose garden

Just Plain Bad: Unconditional Love

Blue Denim: Loved it when i first heard it on the radio, yes, radio believe it or not. and i think that was the only time i heard it there. Still love it today. Wish she would do it live again. One of my favorite "newer" stevie songs.

Greta: Love it. However, i kind of like the demo a little better.

Street Angel: Didn't like it at first, but i like it now. however, i don't listen to it all the time with the others that i like. the thing that annoys me is the line, "no amount of CRYINNNNNNGGGGGG". It's a little too Dylan'ish.

Docklands: Despite the at times cheesy lyrics. I do like this song. It has grown on me. The "i beg of you" lines save this song.

Listen to the Rain: Yes, i'll listen to the rain instead of this dud.

Destiny: I skip over this, although i think the vocal is good. It's a just a little too mushy for me. I like "enchanted" better.

Unconditional Love: ugh, i listen to this. not all the time though. the chorus hooks me. yes, it sucks me in, although i cringe at the "hey hey hey, my precious one" lines.

Love is Like a River: absolute greatness. love it. it's catchy and cool and very funky. but i always substitute for the opening lines: "you used to call me ricky....i used to call you fred" (i love lucy)....hahahaha. anyway, wished she would have done this live. i think you're uptight lady!!!

Rose Garden: Love it. Simply stated.

Maybe Love Will Change Your Mind: I wasn't nuts about this when it was released. I thought it was too middle of the road. It still is, especially now. But that's ok. i love the bridge, and especially the "reveal your other side" line.

Just Like a Woman: Don't like it. Nope. Maybe i'll grow to like it someday.

Kick It: After hearing Docklands and all the laundromat/brushing your hair lines, i assumed this was about quitting smoking. To my delight, it was not. I think this is one of the strongest tunes on the record. I thought it should have been a candidate for a single.

Jane: Sorry Jane Goodall. Gotta pass on this one, although i liked the demo better.

Eh: Blue Denim, Love Is Like A River (incomprehensible, but alright because it's the only rocker), Maybe Love
