English and some Hebrew. It's a hard language to learn for a non-native speaker tommer!

I took 10 years of spanish in school, and can't hardly speak a lick of it. But I can tell you to kiss my ass real well........

Oh ya, I can as if you have any butter in French (don't ask how??!!)

I can speak a little Spanish of the "Yo soy" variety. I wish I were fluent in Spanish and all the Romance languages.

I was like "No, dad, I don't know what to say...uhhh...donde esta el mercado?" BWAH!! They found a manager who spoke English, thank God!!
AHHHH el mercado!!?? don't ask for that!! i did that with my friends when we went to mazatlan for our graduation trip... the cab driver ended up taking us to an open meat market in the outskirts of town... we were soooo freaked out! bloody animals hanging from hooks! we didn't know how to ask for a grocery store....

I took three years of Latin in high school... i can translate mottos and stuff like, from university seals and emblems... and some cigarette packs have latin on them... unfortunately there really isn't a whole lot to say in latin for our current times... i mean, we spent two years translating Cicero's speeches and reading ancient stories about the trojan horse and some princess named dido and these three witches and some kings... all our vocab words were like, war words... and wagons... and lots and lots of horses and horsemen and footmen

working in the restaurant industry for 8 years has given me a fairly good handle on kitchen spanish... i can understand the back of the house in their half english half spanish but i don't really speak it... i talk to them in english and they understand and reply in spanish... it's sort of weird... but it works.

i also understand some french from working in a french restaurant for three years... the owner and his wife conversed in french all the time... and with some bussers and kitchen people... i never really learned pronunciation or anything... but if you speak slowly i can get a good idea what you are talking about.... also.. my latin training helps

oh yeah... and i speak english.

you are definetly right. in fact, even the majority of its native speakers tends to make countless grammatical mistakes, you'll hear this happening even in the media and from public officials, where it's truely embarrassing, not to mention the fact that it's now been totally "flattened" up in terms of pronunciation.

I grew up in the suburbs to the east of Harrisburg. Lancaster obviously has more of the PA Dutch influence, but we had quite a bit where we lived, too, esp. some of the foods and phrases. Things like chicken potpie, which is actually a stew with homemade noodles as opposed to a pie. Or if you want a pie, there's always shoo-fly pie, which I always thought was disgusting. And as a kid I was always told to "outen the lights" or "red up my room." Then of course there's the interesting town names in that area: Intercourse, Paradise, and my personal favorite, Bird in Hand. It was funny, when I moved to Florida years ago, someone actually told me I had an "accent" that sounded like I was from PA Dutch country. Never even realized I had an "accent"!

Portugues? Eu tambem. Falei portugues antes de Ingles.

Tambien hablo un poquito de espanol, pero mi castellano es diferente del espanol que los Americo-Latinos hablan.

Took some Latin too.

Default Yo hablo español. También inglés. Leo portugués.

Hola Amigos
I speak inglés, je je. Though in Miami I like to speak SPANGLISH with american latin fellows.

I can read a bit of portuguese, also. It's very easy.

And I still remember to malaysian words: DILARANG MEROKOK (no smoking, or smoking is forbidden).

I can't imagine what you mean. French has come in so handy now that I'm living in Texas.
