Sure, they could change the cover, but then people would probably talk about the original one even more!
I think she rather likes talking about the album cover and, at least in that one interview, she was displaying the album cover. She was almost inviting the conversation.

And aside from the diehards, you have a whole lot of people who are casual Fletwood Mac fans, but know nothing about that album. I think they might get into it.

You know, I suddenly seem to remember a (televised?) interview or a photoshoot where the cover of B/N was framed on her piano? So, for all the bitching about the cover, I think she has come to like it (most of the time except, perhaps, when she's in her IHL [IHateLindsey] mode).

I'm not sure if that was real or just a dream.

I also remember one she did with Lindsey where it came up and she didn't look all that pleased.... I can't see any basis for just asserting that she loves it, but then I'm a fan of complexity, nuance, that kind of thing.

Ha! Funny, in one interview he was sitting there beside her, seemingly all uncomfortable while she proclaimed her profession did not include the removal of her clothing....

I think that's the one I'm thinking of, too. Who knows what to make of it all? Not me.

I remember that too. Didn't she say she was about to ship it off to a museum or something of that nature? Or am I imagining things again?

That's the one where he said, "Good thing I had long hair" and she said "good thing," and it was obvious that it was not the first time they'd made that little quip together.

As far as the interview where she had the album out, I think she's said she hated it at the time, but that now it's a part of rock history.

It was a photo from the Harper's Bazaar article, "A Visit to Stevieland", 1997. I tried to find the photo, but no luck.

Awww, Michele! Don't bust my bubble! I thought they were just naturally Burns & Allen with that exchange.

Here's a link I found, it has a pic halfway down right side of BN but no piano (UK version) is this it?

That is the article, but the picture of the album sitting on the piano isn't on that page. I guess they didn't scan it for that site. I'm sure someone around here has it. I saw it somewhere recently, in fact but I can't remember where.

I thought it was off the cuff, too! I shall pretend I didn't read that information from Michele.

Found the picture, but now that I look at it again that's not the album cover, it looks more like a page out of a scrapbook:

Do you think that during that time she always had it right there on her piano or was it just there for that particular photo session? If you're sitting there trying to play the piano, it's kind's of . . . distracting. Michele
