Default From Nickslive.blogspot

"According to*a tweet by @brianoneal just a short time ago, the first track from Lindsey's new album "Seeds We Sow" will get some sort of release through Topspin, which is a technology-focused direct-to-fan marketing, management and distribution platform.* According to their facebook page, they help artists manage their catalogs, connect with fans and generate demand for music."

I went to Topspin's website and it said there was a free sign up, but the only thing. I saw was three options starting at $9.99 per month. Not sure how the "direct to fan" is supposed to work. If I can sign up for free and pay $0.99 for a single, then I will buy it.

I'm definitely anxious about this single. Hoping it sounds like Lindsey.

So by "first track from Lindsey's new album "Seeds We Sow"", does that mean to imply that they will release the first single from the album "Seeds We Sow", which is "In Our Own Time", or that they will literally release the first track, track #1 from the album, which IS the song "Seeds We Sow"?

Thumbs up Lindsey CD

I completely agree with you. I'm even more picky when I say that I want a hard plastic CD (UTS) case rather than the card board (GOS). But in the end any Lindsey music available is worth it.

Agreed, proper CD wanted! The Little Big Town CD is also in a cardboard cover!

Lindsey is putting his PR in the hands of Brian O'Neal; and that dude is running the release through TOPSPIN

I second that: Proper CD wanted. Of Billy Burnette's "Rock And Roll With It", too.

It's just difficult these days being a Lindsey fan (or any artist not in the Top 40) since radio is so homogenized and doesn't want to play anything new by older bands and band members.

Perhaps some requesting is in order to our local stations that MAY play the single.
When UTS was released they did do a profile on NPR's World Cafe. He has that kind of cred. I don't remember if it was UTS or GOS (or both) but our local "adult alternative" station (91.3 The Summit in Akron) played a single for about a week. They played "Secret Love" a few times as well. Maybe I should call on them more often this time around!

I love to buy albums the day of. I'm thinking about going to my local record store to make sure they'll have it.

I think the single is. I think this is the 'free download of the first song off the album' which happens to be the title track.

I think.

I could be wrong. I'm rather confused, actually.

I downloaded and I'm liking the whole sound
