The new songs have already been rehearsed and played. As an artist one would think she would want to play her new music. She claims it is her favorite album. This is a big reason along with the price of the tickets, why I passed up 2nd row center seats for the VA show. When I saw $400 + for the total costs I could not bring myself to do it.

Before everyone starts bashing her about the setlist, please keep in mind that IYD has not yet been released in the UK and that she is in an opening slot before a
very large audience. It makes perfect sense that she would want to pack the set with hits and high(er)-energy rockers. It was basically her job to rev up the crowd for Rod, and on that front she succeeded (from all accounts). I think she would have been mortified at the thought of playing brand new songs that nobody had ever heard of in this kind of setting. As she proved at the Wiltern show, she is perfectly able and willing to play her new songs. As such, I have every reason to believe that a third of her headlining American tour set will be new songs.
