Bonnie Raitt (singing Angel...) would be wonderful.
Christine McVie - no brainer.

But my choice - and I said it in the other thread for this topic:

Rufus Wainwright. Their voices are very similar in timbre and would complement each other perfectly.

Tom Waits would also be a good match for Stevie.

Even Lucinda Williams would be perfect.

yes I just came across this on youtube or a facebook page that had a link to this one I love it and it also sounds like a song Stevie would write definetly would be cool to hear her on this song along with Godsmack and yes the girl who singing on this sounds very close to Stevie style voice love it.

It wasn't Pink, It was Courtney Love & Billy Corgan. Courtney made numerous mentions around 1997 about her desire to write a song for Stevie to record for her next album. Allegedly a song was written called "When It All Falls Apart". Also "Malibu" was originally penned with Stevie in mind, but as the song developed it became more personal to Courtney and she loved it too much so she kept it for Hole's "Celebrity Skin" album. I'm not aware of what ever happened with WIAFA or if Stevie heard it or even ever recorded it during the TISL sessions I think it all fell apart when Stevie & Sheryl became friends, then collaborators during 1997 through 1999-ish.

No, it was Billy Corgan & Pink, at least in the articles I saw. I know Courtney made some noise back then about wanting to write for Stevie, but I'm talking about what Stevie told the press about approaching other artists to write for her next album.

Hmmmm, I've never heard anything about Stevie wanting Pink to write her a song for TISL. You should dig up that article or mention. Pink 1st album came out in 2000 (which was R&B), and she didn't really become huge until the commercial pop/rock success of her 2nd album in the fall of 2001. So I find it hard to imagine Pink would have been on Stevie's radar in the late 90's
