Um, not to seem like an ass but aren't all demos, masters, bootlegs, ext. stolen from artists seeing as they aren't making any money off of their creations.....? So what's the big deal?

Very cool set list ideas for the Street Angel Tour! I know that "Ooh My Love" and "Long Way to Go" were rehearsed for the OSOTM tour but never made the cut!

So, this guy is FAKING Stevie's signature AND STEALING tapes from under Sara's nose? For a guy with a 100% positive rate... maybe Sara should alert eBay when she gathers her senses. Maybe SHE could have made some money instead of him.

Stevie said "Secret Love" and "Forest Of The Black Roses" were stolen from her: DESTROY your copies!!!!
Why do you say this mikebise? Hope you didn't pay for anything written cuz it probably is a fake. I just recently found out about it and I would not sell pictures of my friends so for you guys I guess it's a good thing. I don't come here because for some reason there are a lot of shallow mean people here. Not just to me but sometimes to Stevie and that's not right The first amendment rules but this is a pretty tacky "The Enquirer" like place to be. Somebody class this place up huh? So I will...server 2727 has 3 forgeries that I know of the Cosmos book, and polaroid pics of Mick that he says are signed by Mick and Lindsey. I know all their signatures and will assure you they are all fakes. Your 100% man better pull this scam or whoever buys the stuff could sue him for fraud. I want you Ledgies to be informed. Nobody told me about this until recently and I hate coming here so I wouldn't have known if it wasn't for my friend SuperFleetwood. It's nice to know it's being appreciated. I hope all the pics are flattering of Stevie or she might kill me! Bye Legies Buyers beware!

Yep. Not to mention, had Stevie not wanted this **** to get out, she would have kept a tighter lid on it. Also, she should be glad it is out there. Everyone talks about Stevie's hardcore fan base and I think the unreleased stuff contributes to that a lot. Had I not discovered all these demos in the last ten years, I probably would have lost interest. Stevie has an amazing body of work, but her released stuff is slim.

I am friends with Sara and she said that stuff was stolen from her storage unit and saw that book of hers and that signature is not stevie's she never signed that book so you want to waist your money on a fake signature go ahead she mentioned about passing it on here so just passing her word.

You are right there!

I'm only interested in Stevie's music, not printed/written things. And the tapes are definitely REAL. I'm in absolute shock that "Mirror, Mirror" did not make it on Street Angel, it's THAT great a recording!

If those 3 tapes were physically stolen from you, I'm sorry. But several storage units lately containing amazing Stevie recordings have been discovered as abandoned. It seemed reasonable that these 3 tapes were of a similar origin, given how MANY tapes are appearing nowadays.

The tapes are out of my hands now. You should report the seller for his fake Stevie printed material and your wedding guest book.

Or perhaps Sara can just ask Stevie what she wants done with this information. If true, she may want to spend time recovering the "abandoned" storage units as there may be music there she has forgotten about like in the case of Secret Love. Regardless, if this stuff belonged to Sara and she says it was stolen, I think we honor that...

Mirror Mirror rocks and I agree……it is shocking that it was left off SA! It was written during the RAL era and even sounds like it was meant for that album. Maybe someday Stevie will pull it out and put it on an album, but time is running out sadly unless she hits her, “Song Vault!”

Well, the winner of the ROCK A LITTLE Motherload is not part of the rercord company/a Stevie insider. He's a guy here in Texas who wanted the songs for himself, and only himself. He's not "protecting" Stevie or preventing illegalities. He himself has does not have the right to those tapes.

And the WHOLE point of getting ANY of these tapes is to keep them from being HOARDED by one or two individuals who are NOT working on Stevie's interests.

IF the tapes were being bought up on Stevie's behalf and returned to her Vault (where I'm sure she has ALL of these songs on Master Reels, not Maxell cassettes), then that would be a different story. Stevie's tapes were returning to Stevie. Done deal.

BUT the HOARDER(S) is NOT doing this. He's only doing this for himself.

And THAT is why a group of Stevie Fans is mobilized to get other tapes: to keep them from being hoarded by singular individuals who care more about being the greedy hoarder than about experiencing the joy of sharing with others who LOVE Stevie's music.

If Stevie and her reps start buying up/blocking the sale of any other tapes that come forward, then that is exactly as it should be. Who would have a problem with that?

It's the HOARDER who is NOT working for Stevie that I have a problem with.

I'm very sorry someone stole Sara's 1988 Wedding Guest Book, the tapes and all the rest, and sorry that forgeries are going on.

Unfortunately, this is true and it diminishes the site overall. There are some members who inject nearly every thread with negative, mostly baseless comments, accusations, belittling of talent, etc.

However, there are some ongoing threads that aren't ravaged by acrimony, and I hope Sara returns to find some sanctuary among those.

I agree with this. All the unreleased stuff is one of the major reasons I'm still a Stevie/Mac fan. She/they are hella talented, but there's only so many times I can listen to the same songs over and over again without losing interest with so many other great acts out there. Hearing new songs, new takes on established songs and live versions is what keeps me coming back. I feel bad that some stuff was stolen, but at the end of the day, all unreleased stuff is "found" or "stolen" anyways. It's the circle of life in the bootleg universe of music. It sucks for the artists but it's good for the fans. I also agree with another statement. If it really bothered Stevie all that much, she needs to cap it and start buying back or blocking these sales.

It's been 10 years in between Shangri-La and In Your Dreams. She's never going to get all of this music released, and if the good fans here are not buying it, others will and it'll either leak for all to enjoy and marvel in Stevie's amazing talent, or it'll collect dust in a box or a closet until the hoarder(s) can get more money for them when she's passed on in 20/30 years time. If she doesn't want her music being sold like this illegally, put out another boxset full of nothing but alternate edits and rarities so that the fans who really want them can buy them. If not, then the bootlegs will continue. Either way, people will get their hands on this stuff. It's just the way things are.

Stevie is a songwriting genius. Most of the reason I fell in love with her body of solo work IS from the unreleased material. A lot of it is pure genius. And to be honest, most of my all-time favorite Stevie songs have still yet to be 'officially' released.

I know several fans who have apologized to Stevie for having her unreleased songs when they meet her, and she's always told them: "I know, it's okay."

I hope Stevie does know how much we love all of her music.

Since when has anyone here been mean to Stevie? We might not agree with everything she does, but honest criticism doesn't= mean. If we weren't fans, why would we be on this website?
