Mike, I know you posted these in lossless format so as to preserve quality, but woud you mind if I posted the mp3 conversions that I made for those who would like them? They're converted to 160 kbps.

If you'd rather them stay lossless, I understand. Just thought I'd ask

Daniel, I don't mind, I just dread the "sound degradation" whining down the line. Just like the "Look what I found on YouTube!" threads, which is great the songs are there, but then people do a cheapo transfer and there are 5000 variations of crappy sound. Which is exactly what we've been trying to undo after the 30+ years of Stevie's unreleased recordings circulating around in less-than-stellar condition/sound quality.

But I don't mind in the least, please do so. All I'm doing is stating future dread. Which is silly of me.

But they are not my songs at all. And I'd prefer more people hear them and enjoy them. MP3 Players and all that, yep. Go for it!

Just thought I'd add that for those that use iTunes, you can convert your .wav or other file types to .mp3 format (if your portable device doesn't support them).

Right click on the song/s and there should be a "convert to mp3". You are able to highlight multiple.

This will give you 2 copies of each song though, (one .wav one mp3) so you can either keep both or delete one. Scrolling to the side should have the file types, if not you will need to add "Type" to your toolbar at the top. The one with song, artist etc.

Hopefully that can help someone

This is true. Luckily, with the way digital media is now we won't have a problem keeping the original sources close at hand

I still can't believe the gold mine that you hit. lol. Maybe that SA batch you got will finally have that version of "I Call You Missing" you've always been looking for

I'll probably upload the mp3s tomorrow or Thursday, depending how things are looking. I'm still downloading all those I Can't Wait tracks.

@Stevie's Prince - thanks for sharing that with us on how to convert to mp3

I'm probably still going to post them though just for people who don't have enough room to download all those WAV tracks in the first place. It'll save them a lot of work; and I'm also tagging everything (I really like to be organized)

They are short parts of "I Can't Wait" used for remixes. Different instrumental breaks that the remixer (Don Smith) was using to create different mixes. They are very cool to me.

I downloaded everything into my iPod this weekend but I have it on random so these songs are popping up here and there but OMG the ICW Piece 1 with the drums came on today...I'm sorry but holy effin sh*t this is so bad ass I'm in love with it and keep listening over and over. Must be my whole 80's drum machine/synth fetish. Paradise for me!! I can't wait to hear the rest of these "pieces" (no pun intended).

These are just an I Can't Wait lover's wet dream!! I seriously listened to the ICW stuff for 2 hours last night and still haven't had enough. I've dreamed of having demos/remixes/unreleased versions of this song for years and finally my prayers have been answered. After all, ICW is the reason I fell in love with Stevie Nicks. I absolutely loved this song when it was popular and it's one of the main reasons I became a chiffonhead years later.

Me too! It was 1986, and my birthday was just around the corner, and heard I Can't Wait on the radio - of course I was excited for birthday presents, I couldn't wait!
