Yep, that is what I think too...I can fax it to the perspective management, like tomorrow...it is now 26 pages...that will catch their attention coming in on their fax machines...

Please use a cover letter with your signature line, too. I love the SAY YOU WILL not cheat the fans...it says it all.

Better call first and tell them to refill the paper tray

I agree, a FAX might not get anywhere. I'd send a paper copy with signature confirmation...if possible. I know that's a lot of paper, and postage at a big expense, but I'd be glad to help with the costs.

To be honest, I probably will do both. I just have not had a second to breathe...

I have a question about the petition. It covers a bunch of topics but never really says what we want the result to be. Do we want the result to be just that JT gets fired? Is it more than that? I think sometimes it's best to keep the goal focused and simple. If the goal is to get rid of JT, I think we should just say that. This sounds like a good goal to me.

I thought the goal was to have a full investigation of the fan club? Not just to get rid of the guy in charge. Maybe I didn't read things right. Just getting him out would not bring answers to the list of questions raised about the ticket sale, the whole fan club operation, and all the other things in the petition.

..Agreed, however for management to really take note you have to show your intent and show it in such a manner that they KNOW the fans mean business.

Without real conviction for our cause the whole thing will just be tossed aside.

There is no way to get JT fired without exposing the problems and getting questions answered. You can't just have a petition that says, "We want JT fired". You have to have a reason. SOME of the reasons are outlined in the petition, but, there are many more. But, read the petition, it plainly states that we want him removed from any affiliation with the club or the sites.

Also, because of the lies and inconsistencies of the club, there have been many ppl who would have joined and have not. The petition needed to be worded so that not only current members can sign, but, those would be members and also all of the fan community, as they love the band and this has been a major disappointment.

You have to have reasons to have the man fired.

Here is the petition. All of the things are in here....read paragragh two...that is our goal.

To: East End Management, Immortal Records Attn: Carl Stubner, HK Management, Mitch Snyder Promotions

We are fans of Fleetwood Mac. We want to stand together and let our voices be heard regarding the Fleetwood Mac official fan club, the Fleetwood Mac official Web site (www.fleetwoodmac.com) and the Mick Fleetwood official Web site (www.mickfleetwood.com), which is operated by Jonathan Todd of Sabre Mark.

We feel that we have been misled, mistreated, mishandled and disrespected by the administrators of these organizations, and are calling for an investigation of Sabre Mark in order to remove Jonathan Todd and Sabre Mark from any continued affiliation with the sites and the fan club.

We are calling for an accounting of the use of our funds, collected as official fan club membership fees, and want to know whether these funds were used to transport administrative staff of the fan club-affiliated organizations to the Fleetwood Mac rehearsals held in Los Angeles in April 2003, and whether that affiliation resulted in their attendance at these rehearsals. In addition, we want to know whether funds from the fan club either paid for the transportation to and from the event or reimbursed the administrative staff for their expenses, including seating arrangements at the any of the Fleetwood Mac tour performances.

We believe that Jonathan Todd has not been forthcoming with information as to the number of members in the official fan club, as to how many actual seats were made available at the tour venues for the arranged presales through TicketMaster, and as to what our actual seating options were. We want proof that Sabre Mark did indeed provide us with the "best 20 percent seating on the floor, closest," as we were told in solicitation e-mail messages from Jonathan Todd to official fan club members.

We want to register our concerns and unanswered complaints that Jonathan Todd chose to use our screen names as our presale passwords, which might have allowed anyone access to our fan club presale seats. It is a great concern to us that more than 900 seats went on sale on eBay, shortly after our first presale began.

Sincerely,

I'm still not sure complaining to managment is the answer, but the petition is a good way to document the fact that a lot more than one or two fans have concerns and are unhappy with the fan club.

Some members are meeting resistance to credit card disputes. The petiton gives another source of information for the credit card companies, besides the emails and happy club threads being "created" by the fan club.

Anyone have one of those membership cards we supposedly got for our money? Didn't think so. The fan club is telling credit companies we got cards, so anyone who's got one, please post a picture so the rest of us can see what they look like. Haaahaaahaaahaaahaaaaa!
