Post my playlists..

my ipod playlist for Tusk:

1. Think About Me
2. Sara
3. I Know I'm Not Wrong
4. Sisters of the Moon
5. Tusk
6. Storms
7. Honey Hi
8. The Ledge
9. Angel
10. Save Me a Place
11. Beautiful Child
12. Never Forget

and my current Ipod playlist for the Beatles White Album (compares to Tusk as they both have magic, but are a tad, well a bit, bloated...to keep either one from being a masterpiece).

1. Back in the USSR
2. Dear Prudence
3. Glass Onion
4. Ob-la-di Ob-la-da
5. The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill
6. While My Guitar Gently Weeps
7. Happiness is a Warm Gun
8. Birthday
9. Yer Blues
10. Everybody Gots Something to Hide but Me and My Monkey
11. Revolution #1
12. Cry Baby Cry

Taking the White Album down to 12 is tougher as it include many more songs, really good songs - the only really disastrous track is Revolution #9.. what the f&ck ..turn on a dead man....just too weird.. and I usually like some weirdness.

Nice! Tusk has often been referred to as Fleetwood Mac's "White Album," so the association of the two albums is very appropriate. (turn me on dead man)

The White Album and Tusk are my number 1 and 2 double albums respectively.
The White album is my favorite album of all time though

Revolution #9 should never be left off. It must sound great with headphones. I haven't listened to this song in years. I'm due for a good listen.

Hey Keith, where's Sexy Sadie?

Definitely part of the glory of Tusk is that it's a sprawling double album, so whittling it down to a single disc pretty much automatically diminishes it. Anyway here's My version first:

side 1:
Tusk
Storms
Think About Me
That's All For Everyone
Sara
side 2:
Angel
Brown Eyes
Walk A Thin Line
Beautiful Child
I Know I'm Not Wrong
Never Forget

What I'm guessing Warners would have done:
side 1:
Think About Me
Storms
Not That Funny
That's All For Everyone
Sara
side 2:
Over & Over
Tusk
Brown Eyes
Walk A Thin Line
Sisters of the Moon
Never Forget

I'm pretty certain Warners would have kept Stevie's "Sara" and "Sisters of the Moon"....not sure which of her songs would have been the 3rd choice, but I went with "Storms". For Christine, I think they'd have kept "Think About Me" and "Brown Eyes"....ostensibly "Over & Over" because out of the remaining tracks it sounds the closest to being 'radio ready'....possibly "Never Forget" for the same reason. With Buckingham, with the exception of "Tusk" its hard to guess which songs would have been kept. I'm figuring "That's All For Everyone" because it has more production sheen so it fits in better with Nicks/McVie's songs....."Walk A Thin Line" for the same reason.....and "Not That Funny" because the band seems to treat that song as a stand-out (and it was a UK single).

Also my favourite Mac album hands down.

All you people without Brown Eyes are mental

And Revolution #9 from the white album is the scariest thing that's ever happened to me musically (mind you I was highly high the first time I heard it).
I felt like I was being taken over, subliminally I mean..

"Industry allows financial imbalance

Thrusting it between his shoulder blades

The Watusi, the twist

Eldorado

Take this, brother, may it serve you well

Maybe it's nothing
What? What? Oh...

Maybe, even then, impervious in London"

No. 9, No 9 ..
