Hi Viv.I'm still play the cd at work. I play the mp3 player with Stevie's entire solo collection in the shuffle mode and I let her rip. This gives me a mix of the old and the new tunes.Yesterday It played about 3 1/2 hours.Today I did not even put it on.I like all the tunes on the new cd.

I'm still constantly between In Your Dreams and Street Angel.

They're like Brie and Chardy to me

I think he was trying to say the depth of the lyrics do not match the depth of music of the song. Musically it's too simple. Landslide has change ups. It's simple but musically deep.

Top 3 for me. Burnt myself out on it in the first 3 weeks & then once Gaga's new album dropped, I became totally submerged in it & still am. Not really coming up for air anytime soon, but once I do, I'll be able to listen to IYD again without it sounding so stale...

OK, IYD is not one of my favs, however, lemme ask you all this. Is there a single song on the IYD CD that you believe or can honestly say that in 5, 10,20,30 years from now will hold up well and will be played on a Top 40 rock or pop station. I am referring to either FM songs or Stevie solo songs such as Dreams, Stand Back, Rhiannon, Landslide, Edge of, all of which are still regularly played on Top 40 radio. I just don't see a single song, other than perhaps Secret Love that will be played. In fact, the ONLY song I have heard being played on XM/Sirius is Secret Love.

Note that I am not saying it has to sell a LOT or be played a LOT on Radio/itunes etc to be a great song. I am just asking if there's any particular song (s) that will be heard in the future from this CD? I can't think of any.

Of course; but they have to be released as singles, first.

In Your Dreams
For What It's Worth
You May Be The One
Everybody Loves You

I can't either unless let's say for instance Soldier's Angel was used in a documentary or movie that could live on for years...same with Moonlight if they use it in a movie.

No, but not for the reason that you're probably thinking. Most IYD songs won't be established songs on the radio not due to quality but due to 1. where Nicks is in her career and 2. the state of the music industry now.

Had IYD been released earlier in Nicks' career, a number of songs on it could have become standards: "Secret Love", "For What It's Worth", "New Orleans", "Moonlight", "Annabel Lee" and "Italian Summer" in particular. All of these have been cited by one critic or another as being excellent (and some have said "near Fleetwood Mac") quality.
