Im sure they will play the UK but i think we can safely say its gonna be next year. I wonder what venues they'll play, at first i thought wembley arena or earls court but it would be amazin if they did a stadium concert, possibly at the Manchester football ground where Bruce Springsteen played recently.

Unhappy conspiracy

I'm starting to believe that there is an elaborate conspiracy to keep me from ever seeing fm live. In '97 the shows around me were sold out; when Stevie toured in '98 I was in France. And now there are about five concerts I could have easily gotten to, in fact I could've gotten fourth row seats to the Birmingham show, which is about 20 min. from my house, but I'm stuck here in London revising for exams, and I won't be heading home until early September. Don't get me wrong I would love to see them play Wembley, but by the time they come over this way, I'll be back on the other side of the ocean. Strange how this keeps happening to me. So one of two things better happen: one, they play a show somewhere in the vicinity of Alabama, or two, they play Wembley, or Earl's Court cause you gotta love the standing area, sometime around the 17th or 18th of December when I'm back here for graduation. With my luck neither will happen. Sorry for the rant.

Kate

p.s. most of you wouldn't remember me, but I used to post here about four or five years ago, but I suppose in the grand scheme of things I might as well be considered new.

Hey Kate - if you fancy a Mac fix to keep you going you sjould join me and some of the other Fireflies at a Fleetwood Bac gig. They are a top FM tribute band...not quite the real thing but the next best!

We were promised a world tour for TISL and that never materialised...neither did the Dance tour and we were promised that too!

When your a UK mac fan you get used to being disappointed

Love and happiness from Sarah
Unfortunately I'm with you on this one, Sarah. It's just like the TISL tour all over again - which involved us sat here like lemons waiting for the so called 'world tour' to head our way!! Feels an awful lot like deja vu to me.

Nice plug Pip.

We'll be the ones throwing ridiculous shapes (though we think we're dancing) down the front! You can't miss us. Sometimes the band humour us and pretend that they don't think we are raving loonies.

But seriously Kate, you should come - you don't have to talk to us, but you would have a laugh (possibly at our expense!).

Oh, and the band are FAB. Forgot to mention that.

Yup, and in 7 1/2 years in this state, 5 of them in Austin, I've never really gone west of Austin. It's another country, I understand.

The Band better come to Canada. They always ditch us. The last LB played with the Band in Ontario was during the Rumours tour in 77. I hope they come back to Canada. Please Please Please come to Canada!!!!!!!!!!
