Default Soldier's Angel on Lifetime (TV Network)

I'm sitting here watching Will & Grace on Lifetime and during a commerical I hear the guitar. I look up and I see they are promoting Soldier's Angel as part of their Coming Home series (for anyone who doesn't know what that is the show reunites military families with their soldiers.) Anyway, they are teasing the next Coming Home and then they jump to how you can support the Yellow Ribbon fund and get a free download of Stevie's Soldier's Angel.

I was wondering if Lifetime was going to pick up on that because aside from Coming Home, they also air Army Wives (great show btw).

Here's the link to what I was able to find on the web: http://www.mylifetime.com/shows/comi...-fund-donation

I suddenly see this song having a whole different commercial success.

I appreciate the message of the song, but jeez, imagine being a casual fan and hearing *that* song as new Stevie material. I'd be running away from In Your Dreams!

Multiple formats helped Trouble In Shangri-la.

"Soldier's Angel" could do great things for Stevie, even if there is another mainstream single, like "Moonlight".

I'm watching Lifetime this morning! There's this campy TV-Movie from 2005 called The Perfect Neighbor starring Barbara Niven. She's so crazy! I have it on DVD, but watch it anyway whenever it is on Lifetime, which is all the time!

Great hearing STEVIE during it!

Nothing like getting sucked into a Lifetime movie. Especially on a day when you can just chillax and not be at work.

I just posted in the other thread that Stevie's voice is the first thing in the commercial, all loud and strong!

SO exciting to hear Stevie's voice on a commercial!

Well, looks like I'll be solely watching lifetime from now on until I see that commercial.

The commercial ends with the voiceover:

"For more information about the Yellow Ribbon Fund and for a free download of Stevie Nicks' 'Soldier's Angel', go to mylifetime.com ."

Wow!!!

We should all download it to show support for Stevie!!!

On the homepage they have a link that says 'Join Stevie Nicks in supporting the Yellow Ribbon Fund'

It takes you here: http://www.mylifetime.com/shows/comi...-fund-donation

Ps I love that drawing they have on the website too. I'm assuming she drew it? I haven't seen it before. Wish we could donate to purchase a HQ copy of that.

Yeah, she's signed her name by it so it's by Stevie. I love it too and wish there were a larger version I could look at!

I'm shocked so few donated to Stevie's charity yesterday. Only 6? A lot of fans paid serious money to be at the Wiltern. I'm surprised the soldiers angel ebay page hasn't gotten more action. It's a great cause close to Stevie's heart. I know all of us already have Soldier's Angel because we bought IYD and many people don't care for the song. , but I didn't donate to get the free download. I did it to support Stevie's cause. I'm also going to put it on my facebook page if the link is still active. I mean, we've all gotten together to push her to the top of indusrty polls, to get people to buy her cd, etc. It's sad her charity has so little support. People who aren't fans probably don't know about it. Even if we all can't personally donate $1.99 maybe we can spread the word online? The online campaign worked to get her on Oprah, right?
