Default What Stevie was doing on past birthdays...

Here's a kind of interesting, short article that mentions what Stevie was doing on her past birthdays. Do you remember where you were and what you were doing back then?

its actually not an intresting article at all since not one thing listed there was accurate or specific whatsoever. The writer just took what was going on in general that year in her life and said Stevie was doing that (recording rumours 1976, **** maybe she wasn't recording anything May 26th 1976 we dont know, or if I wasnt lazy I could look up if she played a concert that day.

And for 2011 it doens't mention she'll be playign a show on her birthday, it just mentions shes happy to have just released a new CD.

Good point. It's really not that interesting. LOL

yes her Enchanted box set was released in April of 1998 and she spent her 50th Birthday here in Hartford,CT she was here a few days before her birthday rehearsing for her Enchanted Tour and the opening night of her Enchanted Tour was May 27,1998 at the Meadows Music Thearte in Hartford,CT I was at that show and awesome tour she brought out gems on that tour the night before at the bar in the Goodwin Hotel where she and the band were staying, They had a suprise party for Stevie at the bar and some fans Got wind of it and where there too I was not there but people at the show I have talked to were and she signed a box set for a the guy I was talking too. I wish I was there at the bar that night but I did have a dream come true and finally got to meet her in NYC in person at the B&N cd/dvd live in chicago sound sessions release party at Barnes and Noble in Union Square she was amazing to have met.

In her younger days you can be pretty sure that Stevie was partying on her birthday, there would have been alcohol, drugs, and sex, not necessarily in that order, or perhaps all at the same time.

On her birthday in 1980 Stevie was passing through NY having just played Detroit, on her way to Europe for the remainder of the Tusk tour.

Not necessarily. She might have treated her birthday as a special occasion.

Lightbulb I was there for. Stevies birthday Timespace era.

She was at a restaurant on Sunset, The Hamburger Hamlet. Or just the HAMLET. She took up two tables...Sharon was there, Glenn...etc. She wore a flowered dress, a blazer and a hippie hat. She had 2 double Chivas Reagles, ate chicken fajitas...ordered guacamole and chips for the table, asked the waitresses if that was like 2 chips a person? Put them on my end, when the cake came...she made everyone sing happy birthday like, 3 times until it was perfect...directing them in a 3 part choir in harmony to boot. She smoked like 100 long cigarettes, 100s...green pack. We spoke on her way out...people went to the bathroom...and she nodded to well wishers...Glenn returned and everyone jumped into the 2 long white limos...and off they went. Except for when we remeniced about grandmothers, family, our space in time, antiques...etc...she seemed withdrawn...kind of head down...don't look at me...except during happy birthday. To me she was stunning...watery sad brown eyes...dark eyes. Others later spoke about her looking like he'll. Guess I saw, like everytime...what mattered. And there lies the beauty. This was meet number 2.
