Default Birthday present dilemma - What would you do?

Ok my birthday was back in April and I couldn't decide what I wanted.

So, I told the BF that Stevie was going to announce tour dates soon (I live in Boston), that he could get me good seats when they go on sale.

Doesn't look like it's going to happen

Should I hold out or cash it in for something else?

She'll be here. I predict the Bank of America Pavillion in August.

I'm a horrible unromantic for saying this, but maybe ask for the cash now in case you break up before the tickets finally go on sale?

Seriously, if the concert is what you want most, then you might as well wait for it.

Cash is forever;

Love is fleeting.

Very sound advice. (I'm not really a gold digger, I just love money)
