She did an awesome wailing thing for Edge though; it wasn't her normal wail, but she pulled it off nicely. I had 6ht row seats, but security allowed people up to the stage at the start of the show, so I was feet away the entire time.

Set list was the same as the past couple of shows [I think]

1. Stand Back
2. Outside the Rain
3. Dreams
Spoke to the crowd about how she lived in Albuquerque during the 2nd and 3rd grades, and how some cat (maybe her cat?) would bring dead rats to the door and they always had to act proud of the cat, because that is how you treat cats. The crowd laughed at this. It was a great storytelling part of the show. She also says she remembers vividly the winds blowing the sand against the back of her legs (it was a windy night), "I'm 63 now, but I remember it like it was yesterday." That was interesting because I always wondered her age when she lived here, finally discovered the answer to that tonight.
4. Secret Love
5. Sorcerer
6. Gold Dust Woman
7. Fall from Grace
8. Rhiannon
9. Landslide
10. Edge of Seventeen
11. Love Is

Well I am pretty sure the other shows had 10 songs, tonight there were 11. I didn't go back to check the old set lists, but above is what she performed tonight. Is GDW newly added?

It was a cold night, for May in Albuquerque. I know many of you like to know, I think she wore the same black dress the entire night (I don't pay close attention to her clothing, unless it's not black), she wore her platform boots most of the night, at some point (right before Edge maybe) she changed to her platform black sneakers. She had a black coat on most of the night, and a big one "from Germany" at the end of the show, and she said she was now too warm.

Even though they rescheduled it, it still appeared to be a sold out show. The crowd was totally and completely into it. I was rather surprised how the crowd took to Love Is. One of my favorites, but I wasn't sure how it would go over with the crowd. Everyone seemed mesmerized by it, and I heard a few people talking about what a great song it was on the walk out. All in all, another fantastic show here in Albuquerque. Stevie was awesome!!!!
Glad you had fun! And yes, that was the same set list as in Vegas. Hopefully there will be new stuff for the LA Wiltern Birthday show. There should be anyway.

Did you get any pics/video?

How she sound.does she feel any better. She been sick.I have a feeling she has had no practice time for the IYD tunes.anyway if the Heart and Soul thing continues later..I will draw the line now.I will limit the shows I will attend.I'm not going to pay a kings ransome like $195 dollars for a digest version of Stevie's set list and staying for Rod's set and geting a hard hat and watching put for soccer balls coming at me.also nevermind on the $4.00 gas prices.

I wonder if after the Birthday show, she'll go back to performing the stale set list of 11 frikkin' songs?

If she goes out with Rod she isn't going to do new material...that show is promoted as a "hits" tour so I would think that 10 or 11 song set is it.

she'll at least do secret love but i her set did not include all hits. Fall From Grace, Love Is, etc aren't hits. i just hope she does more songs if heart n soul happens again.

I'm pretty sure they can. It doesn't say "21 and over" on my ticketmaster Vegas tickets. Usually that's indicated if so.

Dear Stevie Nicks,

Your recent concert set lists have been tearing my heart out. You have the album of your career out that is getting nothing but spectacular reviews. You have constantly toured since 2005 with the exact same set list. Tour, after tour, after tour I wait to hear something different and it never comes. Please play Moonlight at least once in the states before you are done with this record.

Sincerely,

Concerned diehard

Rod Stewart appeared on "The One Show" last night in the UK and talked at length about his upcoming residency in Las Vegas starting in August and he said he thought it run for approx 2 years. He seemed to indicate that the Hard Rock Calling show was one of the last shows of the tour.

The set list has actually evolved many times since 2005. Drastically really. In 2005 she played HAEWAFY, Enchanted, SDMHA, Outside the Rain and Circle Dance. In 2007 If Anyone Falls and How Still My Love became permenant fixtures in her set which for 2 years were played only on special occasions. Gone were HAEWAFY, OTR SDMHA and Circle Dance. The out of field comes Crash Into Me. Thank God that seems to be gone after her random 2008 tour which saw the exit of BATB and Enchanted and the return of OTR and HAEWAFY (in an all white dress) and the introduction of what I consider one of my favorite Stevie covers ever done on stage Face The Promise. HAEWAFY would leave after this 2008 tour and for her 5 date "Not a Tour" she did 2 more songs we have never heard her do on stage one a cover (oh well get over it) and the other a song from what was at the time her most recent album. the 7th song to get played from TISL and again "never perfromed previously" Love Is. Personally I'm underwhelmed by it but others think its the greatest Stevie live performance song of the 20th century so shes made the majority of die hards happy there. If I were picking obscure tracks never done live before I would've maybe picked KInd of Woman, but really I think it takes more balls from Stevie to pick an obscure track from her most recent album then one from Bella Donna her solo Rumours sales wise.

So please, if you want to critisize Stevie do it correctly and don't do it with blanket statements like Stevie has been using the same set list since 2005.

Shes had the same set list for 2 weeks and It's a result of her illness not of what Stevie wants to be playing.

There's no need to go through the history. I have seen every tour, every single one, since then. Yeah, a few changes here and there (IAF is still my favorite addition). My point was that she has a new album out that is selling well and getting fab reviews. Its clear that she loves these songs. I know she has been sick, but there's been a TON of time for rehearsal. I don't understand why she didn't do a few of these at the Vegas, Fantasy Springs, and NM shows for at least practice sake.

Because of the sickness is why she's not playing new songs. She's been sick through this TONS of time you refer to. In hindsight maybe she should've reheased a bunch of new songs prior to the heart and soul tour or played them at soundchecks but that didn't happen and I'm sure Stveie planned on reheasing the week before her May 4th show then F**king pneumonia happened. She's probably using her danmed singing voice as little as humanly possible, which means no rehearsals inbetween these random shows and no more then singing her shortened openign act set. And really I think THAT is wrong. She should not be playing an opening act set when shes the only act. She should be phoning her famous friends and may these shows Stevie and friends. Have Sheryl do some songs. Chris Issak do dome songs whoever choses to come do some songs and Stevie can do even less then 11 songs and fans get mpre of their moneys worth in a bad situation.

So yea be pissed at the set, but don't have the attitude of Stevie's just released a great new album and is choosing to not play it for her fans. She's doing the bare minimum of singing and work she needs to do. Really she should've cancelled the whole month of may or did what I suggested above.

And yes I did need to go through a history so others who are new or have forgotten and haven't been to ever show since 2005 like us can see the actual story and not just the "She's had the same set since 2005, playing these same 11 songs.

That rule is for the gambling floor only .as I see it.If she plays in night clubs .more likely the age will be 21.
