They've been trying to cast that movie for over 5 years. They even had Lindsey Lohan as a possible star a few years ago, but of course that fell through. With Jimmy Iovine as the executive producer, he can get Haley cast in the starring role and she'll be PERFECT for it! In 2 years when she's accepting her OSCAR for the role, we Haley fans will be having THE LAST LAUGH! Those of us that truly know talent will appreciate seeing her have a long career in both music and film, while you fickle tweentards will have forgotten about generic Scotty within 10 months! "

I do think Haley resembles a young Stevie somewhat. Check her out here with the hat:

Haley would be a good cast to play Stevie. She has a better voice and resembles her more than Lindsey Lohan does. Too bad Haley had to leave idol. I thought she was good.

Haley was my favorite. This is the first year that I don't like either contestant in the finale.

I like Haley, but she is no Stevie Nicks, and the notion that she will surely win an Oscar for playing Stevie in a biopic made me literally laugh out loud. Come on.

BTW, about Jimmy Iovine.... I know there's footage of him playing bongos at a Stevie solo concert - I think the HBO special - but I can't remember what song it was. Does anyone else remember this?

It was the HBO concert and he was playing on Sara.

I like all (3) contestants actually! I do think it was time for Haley to go though.

I'll miss Haley. I wanted her to get to the final two, maybe even win. Now I'm not sure who I want to win. I prefer Scotty, but it would be nice to have a girl winner again.

The finale is going to suck.. There is going to be WAY too much country. Haley was like the only real chick who was comfortable being herself & just loved Rock n Roll & everything bluesy. She was great. I ADORE her Rhiannon rendition although I wish she wouldn't have messed the words up. I am definitely going to buy her music whenever she puts some out, I believe she has an awesome future.

PS. Did anyone watch Beyonce's new music video & hear her song? What is music coming to? My Mom was actually terrified at the direction music is going in. I told her yeah - now you know why I listen to who I listen to.

I liked Haley through the whole thing...I do think she got better on stage as the season progressed - in the beginning she seemed a little cheesy performing, although her singing was fantastic from day one...but I always thought Lauren would win...I like her too...Scotty is ridiculous (not to mention lop-sided) I think he has a decent voice, but that's it...I hope Lauren wins, but won't be surprised if she doesn't...the little girls seem to understand something I don't ...

I haven't liked anyone this entire season - boooooring. But it's pretty obvious they've been setting up a country duel for several weeks.

Adam Lambert pretty much did win his season... he got voted as Ultimate Idol recently and his album and DVD did really well - and the album was mostly great even though he didn't get long to record it. Not to mention the 100+ date world tour he did. As for Kris Allen um... did he release an album?

This is the key. Voters don't vote on who's actually better. All BS. So I was nor surprised with the result in truth.

My coworkers & I have a finale party every year. But we pretty much eat & drink & shoot the **** while AI is on in the background.

I won't be paying much attention.

The last great finale I recall is the season with Michael JOhns & carly duetting on The Letter, and Brooke White doing "Teach Your Children Well" with - graham Nash I think? I don't even remember whose season that was - David Cooke maybe?

Whatever.
