Anybody heard it?
Wow. I'm disappointed. There is some really bad stuff on here. Some of her lyric choices? I'm guessing she is trying to be avant garde but it comes off cheesy. "On the runway...work it...Black Jesus".....um...ok.

I couldn't resist posting on this. I'm a HUGE GaGa fan. seriously. but I downloaded it yesterday, fully intending to buy the deluxe on Tuesday. I listened to the songs on the standard edition and then deleted it from my computer. it really is that bad. I'm not sure what is going on. I just don't get it.
I hated BTW when it came out, but it grew on me...and Judas did too...to an extent. but everything else? garbage really. and it's not easy for me to really hate on someone I love as much as GaGa. granted, Edge of Glory acoustic is really nice. I guess I'll go to YouTube when I want to hear that. |

Yes, Jazmen. I agree. I was rooting for her, but I had a feeling she reached her peak too early.
These songs are unlistenable: Bloody Mary Black Jesus Bad Kids The Queen Heavy Metal Lover Americano

i think she spends waaaay too much time trying to look different rather than on the talents she has~ her outlandishness is an disrtaction from what could be, JMHO~

Oh...and I am upset with her. My friend's boyfriend lives above the bar she used to perform at when she was a nobody in NYC. He's lived there for about 10 years. Gaga is buying the the whole building and kicking everyone out of their apartments for her own enjoyment. What a bitch.

I loved The Fame and The Fame Monster. I even went to see her at the MGM. I think I may be done with her though. She just tries too hard to be over the top, and Born This Way is terrible.

I like some of her songs - my favorites are Speechless and that Show Me Your Teeth song.
I gotta say though, her last album was so good overall, it's going to be impossible to top it right away. I wouldn't say she peaked early, but I would say she showed all her cards too soon and she needs a new hand before she comes back to the table.

OK, my wife ordered the album, but i heard the leak.....what an awful awful Album.....There's nothing fun about it or catchy like The Fame/monster. It's actually ANNOYING to listen to. Just Gaga self indulgence . I really pulled for her, I did guys. But this is horrid. She was a 1 trick pony, i guess .

Overall it's pretty good. My favorites are Marry The Night, Hair, Americano and Electric Chapel. The rest are good but they don't stick out as much to me.

I actually really really like it. I was a bit alarmed, at first, when she chose Born This Way and Judas as the first singles; they're among the weakest on the album. Marry The Night, Edge of Glory, Americano, Scheiße, Electric Chapel are really great, in my opinion. I think she may have just over-hyped herself and that's why people are so disappointed. I don't take anything she says seriously, at all, and think it's amazing.

I'm uninterested.
Her work - especially solo on piano - can be beautiful and extraordinary. But most of it isn't.

I'm def a GaGa fan and loved her first two but I cannot stand BTW so I will not be buying this album unless the next few singles blow me out of the water, which I don't see happening. Hmm...maybe she's not the next Madonna after all.

I like Born This Way, Judas, Americano, Edge of Glory...
Everything else is really bad. Like my friend said, whose the biggest GaGa fan out there. Stevie's album is much better. It flows, it works together. I feel like this one is, trying to hard to be 'club.' and the songs don't really flow with one another. :/ |

Ughh...so depressing.
I listened to the leak and I enjoyed every second of it! As much as I love 'Born This Way' and 'Judas', I gotta say...I think the other tracks are even better than the singles. 'Marry the Night' is blissful and fun, 'Government Hooker' is trashy/sexy (in a good way), 'Americano' reminded me of ABBA circa 1979, 'Bloody Mary' is over-the-top orgasmic, etc...etc... I think it's a deep album that takes itself very seriously, but at the same time...it doesn't. She makes me wanna dance and think about the lyrical content at the same time.
