IYD Press Reviews & Discussion

[markolas]

Thank heaven there's nothing on IYD that sounds like Alanis Morrissette. I always thought her music was awful. I think the reason I can't stand most music critics is that they don't seem to be able to talk about the music without comparing it to something else ("produced by Dave Stewart, but doesn't sound like Eurythmics," "reminiscent of Fleetwood Mac's radio rock," "solo work not as good as Fleetwood Mac"). The constant name-dropping of other artists is really tiresome.
