Cool, thanks for the info regarding JB's, i will definatly be making the trip tomz too... and yes im already so excited that she is coming here in Nov, it will be my first time seeing Stevie Solo in concert.... whoooo!!!! Im hoping to get good seats in Brissy, i better start saving NOW..

I'm kind of happy to be waiting though, then I still have something else to be excited about...

I just have to resist the urge to watch/listen on Youtube...

I brought my copy at JB on Monday when it was released, so JB HI Fi is your best bet to get a copy, they had heaps too.

I phoned Big W yesterday, on the off chance they may have IYDs in store, i spoke to this really nice guy working in the music dept, i asked if they had Stevie Nick''s new CD in stock? i must admit i was waiting for the Stevie WHO???? but i got the best response ever, he said that he loooves SN, & has most of her CDs at home. He had no idea about IYD's & was very interested to hear all about it, so of coarse i was VERY happy to fill him in, i mentioned that she's also coming out in Nov. Anyway he said Big W most probably wont order IYD's till the CD reaches the top 20 list here.

I think it safe to say that Secret Love has not even played on any radio stations here in Aust ,so what hope has this new CD got sale wise, if only JB's are stocking them & not being promoted via radio?? JMO i really think Moonlight would be a big hit here, it would help if there was some well deserved promotion behind this epic CD..
So has anyone heard Secret Love on the radio here in Aust?? if so which song do you think should be the next single released?? it probably not going to happen, but I'm interested in you thoughts anyway.. lol

I tried listening to my local classic rock stations to see if they'd mention her new album, I even requested they play Secret Love on a few of them, but I'm yet to hear anyone else other than myself listening to the album.

I just wish some Aussie Retailers would've stocked the deluxe edition so I could hear "My Heart"...

Aussie W/Heart I have no idea what the next single would be, I'm thinking Annabel Lee or Moonlight possibly Everybody Loves You, I personally like Ghosts Are Gone and it's the first real rocking thing Stevie's done in a while as well as being kinda bluesy... So maybe classic rock stations would like that...

Someone please play Stevie on your radio station!

It's entirely possible if she's going to be coming in November that the radio stations will pick up the album and actually try promoting it. I personally hope she does a few TV appearances while she's over here.

Maybe a Morning News show or something like 7pm Project or Good News Week or even 60 minutes.

So, I get home today to discover a large cylindrical package on my door step. For a fleeting moment I thought they may have perfomed some incredible feat of physics to get my CD in there, but alas, just the lithograph. I'm assuming the CD can't be far away, but in the mean time I'll just have to see if the lithograph will sing to me. Odds aren't good.

Secondly, I was very excited to hear one of the local radio stations in SE Qld (River 94.9) doing a give away promo for IYD. I hope this translates into some air play for the album. I haven't heard any as yet, but that could be because I haven't taken the CD out of the car to give the radio a chance

The station is actually based in Ipswich, with seemingly a large audience in Toowoomba and surrounds. In short, I think some of the more 'country-leaning' songs on IYD would probably go down a treat - FWIW and Ghosts Are Gone* for example.

*I suppose we've all realised this abbreviates to GAG? I like the song too much for that.

awwww, i hope it comes soon~ i bought the upgrade w/ the litho as well, i got them the same day~ funny thing tho, the litho came UPS & the cd arived in the regular mail

That is so exciting to know that your local radio station is promoting IYDs, i will force myself to tune in to my local stations here on the Sunny coast, actually I'm driving to Toowoomba this w/end so i will give that station you mentioned a whirl, as I'm more inclined to reach for my Stevie CDs while driving everywhere i go..

I have had 3 emails in 3 days from Barnes and Nobel saying they can't fill my order. Haven't cancelled it yet, but have reordered in the UK, just in case.

I have such empathy for your frustrations. I wish I had thought of it earlier, but Americans like myself should have bought the CDs and mailed them to you! You'd have them by now! I hate the thought of you waiting for so long. It's just wrong!
