Here is my QUICK take on the show....Stevie is still obviously very ill.

She sounded great considering, but the crowd was very strange...like they were just there because someone handed them tix at the last minute and they didn't know Stevie or her songs! Very few of us acted....I don't know....EXCITED to be there! Lol.

I was fourth row and MY OPINION: Stevie didn't look happy or sad, just sick. We could see it in her eyes. Even her always perfect hair looked messy...and believe me, it's hard for me to criticize Stevie's looks. I felt as if she were lying down and resting and just jumped up to do the show. She picked at her right ear as if it were bothering her. Infected maybe? Either way she seriously should have postponed this show. Or just waited for her REAL fans to show up..because I have no idea why the majority of those people were there!

I say the above with so much respect and love for Stevie, lest any of you think that I was disappointed in her...I wasn't. I just feel for her and could not believe that crowd.

It was probably her ear monitor she incessantly messes with these days. I think her way of dealing with nervous energy is messing with the damn ear monitor!

Don't count on it.

To the looks of it, she should have canceled, but good for her trying to push through. I just hope she is not pushing herself too much this weekend. It doesn't sound like she is fully ready.

Aww.. I'm sad for her(( I so hope she isn't pushing it...I'm kinda worried about her at this age... and GypsyBecca..I feel bad that she has to sing for people that act like they don't want to be there...makes me want to get up and smack em into dancing!

This has happened to me at a thousand different times in my life. I go all excited, expecting to see and hear new songs and BAM! the same ole same ole. Poor Steph, her audiences are gonna become fewer and fewer if she keeps this up. And she will...

ruh roh..

I get Stevie has been sick and I wish her the best.. but I would have been disappointed, not entirely surprised, if I traveled out to Vegas and this was the setlist.. I was toying with the idea.. I mean, the new album is so good and many of the songs are itching to be played live.

I love Stevie, but if she can't promote her new amazing music, how can she expect radio to.. I hope she gets back to 100% and adds at least 5 or 6 new songs to the setlist.

Typical Fantasy Springs behavior since they started cracking down on the audience. The last time Stevie played there they only let the people in the first row go to the stage-how about last night? Did you make it from the 4th row because I sure didn't-again the last time she was there. They literally threw a fan out from my row who kept trying to get to the stage. Anyway, I passed on the concert because of the way security handles the audience. The first ten rows of the middle section is reserved for tribal members and their tickets are given to them and they are never sold to the public so your observation is correct.

Sorry to hear she's still sick.

This is what concerns me about her touring for IYD. If people aren't on their feet clapping and dancing and singing along to the hits, she's going to have zero confidence and motivation to want to tour with new material. Sucks to hear. I really hope the Vegas crowd is full of chiffonheads. She needs to know we WANT to hear her and WANT to hear new stuff even more.

that's her fault , she spent the last ten years as an oldies act playing the same songs. Who ever is managing her should be replace .

I wouldn't have high hopes for Vegas she'll probably have a small stage set up in the middle of the stage that is already there maybe she'll pull out the 3 white curtains the blew over head during Landslide .

I read a post you did a few months ago regarding this venue when the date for this show was announced and decided to skip it for that reason. What Aholes.

Sucks that she's still sick. I'm here in Vegas now and will be seeing her tonight. At least I know what to expect regarding the set list. I kinda figured it would be that way because she simply hasn't had time to rehearse anything new. My Dad unexpectedly paid for my tickets and hotel for this gig, so that's why I made the 5 hour trek out here. So, I still plan to have fun and rock out tonight. Security isn't nearly as bad at the colluseum. And if there's no Edge walk because she's sick, then that's ok. I'm fortunate enough to also be going to the birthday show too, which I hope by then she will have had time to get perfectly well AND rehearse new songs.

I can't wait to hear Lindsay's full take on last nights show.

Eleven songs. Add up what you spent total trying to see Stevie this month and figure out what each song was worth. I don't see much change in 2 weeks, do you? I'm not feeling optimistic.
