OMG, I almost forgot the biggie. Sara. The live one from the Tusk tour in Melborne. When she does "All I ever wanted.." and the way she draws out the "Sara" right after it will always make me tear up. It's so utterly beautiful, and to me it almost sounds like she's crying when she sings it. Not literally but musically. Like when someone is sobbing uncontrollably and their voice is just wailing. That's what it reminds me of.

And the Tusk documentary, when she sings "All I ever wanted..." and there are big tears in her eyes. Again, I can't watch it when I'm around other people.

And finally, there's one from the Tusk tour from Cleveland. She's off key and off beat for most of the song. It would seem to be a less than stellar performance but the emotion behind it is so raw and sad. I had a friend who passed on and I was listening to this version on the way to his memorial. And the ending came where she sings "it never really died... never really died... oh it was such a heartbeat" and the way she sings it had me bawling so much I had to pull over and compose myself before I got to the memorial. And it still does that to this day.

Yep, no wonder at all that it disappeared from her live set for so long. If it wrecks us, imagine what it can do to her!

3 1/2 hours from show time guys!! I have a feeling I'm going to cry tonight...especially if she does Annabell! Why have I so latched on to this song when I didn't even like the demo? It really shines for me above the others.

Sara. I cry every time. (named my daughter for it even).
Goodbye Baby. The album was released right before my husband died. I can hardly listen to the SYW album, let alone Goodbye Baby.
HAEWAFY. Still. Haha!
Annabel Lee and Gypsy, just for the shear beauty. Plus, lighting strikes, maybe once, maybe twice, gets me now. Wonder if it'll strike twice for me.

Have fun tonight! I never liked the demo either, but it's my favorite on the album.

Stevie singing as the Landslide video plays in the background with those images of her dad makes me cry.

Hearing Say You Love Me on the Unleashed tour made me think of The Dance and I cried.

'Gypsy' for me. It is one of the most perfect songs I have ever had the pleasure of hearing.

"Goodbye Baby" made me cry once when I was reading a story of a baby dying.

"Touched By An Angel" usually gets a tear out of me.

I normally DON'T cry.

Oh My LORD! The mere sound of her voice during that line just kills me.

She really, truly loved him......
I just listened to that earlier. I love that, especially with the music as she is talking. It's absolutely breathtaking.
