I really like Haley. Her voice and style reminds me very much of one of my classmates, maybe thats why haha.. anyway she's a very powerful performer.

And I don't think Stevie's going to be on tonight - I think the finale like was announced.

so I'm watching American Idol and it looks like Stevie will not be on.. which is whyI'm watching.. I don't even have cable tv.. and now I'm watching "Glee" and "AI".. I've listened to most of the show with my headphones on and listening to In My Dreams.. however, took off the phones when they started doing a mirage of Lady Gaga pics and video.. I'm not too familier with her music, but I liked her comment to one of the female singers..

I have to agree No Stevie. now the first hour is gone by.I never watch the show ,but I'm watching it more now.I never like Simon.He was a preek.that was probably why I did not tuned in.Wow Lady GaGa look like she in the 1980's retro mode tonight with the looks.

Stevie wouldn't have been on tonight. They only have guest performers on results shows, which are the day after the contestants perform.

hi everybody...I just found this website a few days ago and had some issues getting on so I haven't been able to reply to anything but now that its resolved...YAY Im on here and hi..although I am new to this website, I am not new to AI...Ive been watching since the beginning so I thought maybe I could be of some help on this issue thats come up...the AI finale will be the 24th and 25th...usually all the special guests come on the 2nd part of the finale which will be the 25th and what Jordalar said is pretty spot on how they do things...usually they have the "special guest" singing with one of the contestants, which could be one of the final 2 or one of the top 11...the "special guest" usually doesnt sing their current songs but either an old one or some random other song...another poster wrote something about wondering whether Jimmy Iovine had his hand in this and I would have to say I am pretty positive he did...I wouldnt doubt for a minute that he asked her to come on there and because of the new album out she is using it for good publicity...Im really sorry I wasnt able to come on here before those of you who don't normally watch idol had to watch it to find out Stevie wasnt on tonight and they could still do something totally off the norm with her but thats just usually the way things work hope that takes some confusion away from some of you

"Earth Song" is one of my ten favorite MJ tracks. I don't watch Idol anymore but I caught this clip on YouTube. I thought she did very well--she sang it like she meant it. And best use of the backup choir the show has ever done.
