For What It's Worth and Moonlight.

Closely followed by You May Be the One and Everybody Loves You.

Although this week I've been replaying Ghosts are Gone and Annabel Lee more and more, so those are moving up the ranks pretty quickly.

For What It's Worth was on repeat this morning - yessirree
I love the dreamy lap steel and the acoustic. I like her voice best with little accompaniment, and a little harmony.

Right now, It's Annabel Lee, New Orleans & You May Be the One. Love them! The first week it was Moonlight, Wide Saragasso Sea & For What It's Worth.

It takes time to soak in, I have even managed to listen to Soldier's Angel twice now, I couldnt get through even half of it the first week.

All in all, I am loving the new music!

I've been runing the complete cd over and over again at work.I like all the tunes. Some of my co-workers are getting tired of hearing the cd over and over again. One said theres no meat on that cd{no rock and roll tunes}.Probably tomorrow I will give them a break from it by playing her old stuff plus classic country tunes and the oldies station I play on some days.

For some reason Ghost is Gone reminds me of a couple of Shania Twain tunes.

For What It's Worth is my #1 right now. Well, it has been for a while. The lyrics, her tenderness w/ the vocals kill me everytime. It's the Landslide of our day ! " you saved my life, i won't forget it " come on, how brilliant is that ? The way she delivers this song is perfection. I am loving the slower songs on IYD right now. I am kind of savoring each and every word like it was my last meal ! Lol

Lmao, i LOVE it . I like that they didn't stray too far from the demo. I fell in love during the time i found that song, and i would have been crushed if she had messed too much w/ it and she didn't. It's a very visual song to me and my fav. demo ( duh ) behind Spaceneedle. I think she did my name proud !!

I agree. I think she did your name proud too. I think it's one of the strongest on the album.

For What It's Worth has been on repeat, mostly.

It's somehow like a combination of Sweet Girl and Landslide... a really awesome combination.

I agree, this song has amazing depth. I do think it will be considered the "Landslide" of her later career. We forget that it took "Landslide" years to achieve classic status....I don't think it was considered such a classic for the first several years.

Definitely Annabel Lee. That's my number one! I love Moonlight and In Your Dreams as well. I kinda got stuck on those. Maybe I should move on and listen to the others a little more...
