Absolutely. I'm angry for you all. This is exactly why I agreed with the e-mail that a Ledgie sent to Liz Rosenberg. They have no concept of living in the real world where finances are an issue.

Ah, anyway, I feel pretty ridiculous for being so whiny. Blame it on a week of almost no sleep? (Grrr, exams. Done in 9 hours!)

I'm still toying with the idea of going to the show, so if anyone needs a roommate, lemme know!

I feel for all the people that were "suppose" to be at the Webster show, I too would pissed off if this was a LA show that got canc. and re-sheduled on the friggin east coast!!!

However.....I am in Calif. and I will look into getting my ticket just as soon as they put the pre-sale up!!!

I'm hoping the tickets aren't too expensive. You never know with the LA venues. The Heart and Soul tickets for hollywood bowl were more expensive than any other venue on the tour for some reason. The top tier TM price for tomorrow's New Mexico casino show is $75, and the same show the following saturday for Vega$ is $175!!

The first item on my agenda to make the LA show happen for me is to check my work schedule. If someone else has that day off I may have to come down with some type of illness....

Another problem: my bank account is unbelievably empty from New York so I'd probably have to buy a ticket this Friday after I get paid. Who knows if tickets will even be available then, and if they are, unless I get mine from a Ledgie, the price will probably be ridiculous on StubHub or something.

I'm going to try to make this work....

I've been thinking about this all night...as excited as I am this is happening in my hometown of L.A. my heart really goes out to you guys who had tickets to Webster Hall. If the situation had been reversed I'd feel like I'd just been slapped in the face, hard. I say she just has it in TX and we can all meet in the middle

I miss him terribly! Especially now, with all the Stevie excitement. LOVED re-living your Mirage story w/ you Sparky! FWIW (pun intended), I have also been victim to a cancelled show that I flew out of town to attend (Behind the Mask tour, Stevie got sick).

My first cancelled show was also on the Mirage tour, in Austin. But at least I was living here and didn't lose airfare or other travel expenses. The plus side to that was the rescheduled date ending up being on Halloween - and Stevie came onstage in a witch's hat!

I think Pip and Louise have us all beat on losing airfare money (across the pond).
