Last night I just tallied up all my travel receipts towards the NYC Webster Hall gig (including airfare, hotel, meals, etc.) and it totaled @$25oo.00 for a "special event" that was cancelled just as I was touching down in LaGuardia Airport by way of Denver, Colorado.
If I hadn't just blown that much cash, I would sooooooo be at this LA "intimate Bday performance". So this is nothing against West Coast vs East Coast. I feel the most for those of us who traveled from states outside NY - this is like rubbing salt in an open wound.

But Hurrah for those lucky enough to attend, because I am seriously & bitterly jealous

I'm gonna try to make it work... my roommate can lend me a little money and I can sell things. The problem is that I'd need to get this organized like, ASAP and that's near-impossible to do with no money.

Wow.I wonder if this is the replacement show for the Webster Hall..I think I will get unglued if this is.And probably film it.since it in LA.I would love to go to LA.I never been to Cali before.I probably have no problem for taking time off also money I will have for the trip.Stevie got to Atlantic City which I never been to before she draw me to go to Atlantic City.I love going there now.I have to agree on the bitterness,and the loss of hard earned money that you guys loss last week.Luckly I'm a last minute charlie on booking hotels and stuff.did not leave early too travel to the venues.I do respect Stevie with her Illness.I hope she gets better quickly for these up coming shows this week.And I have to say have fun at the birthday bash and till Stevie I said hi.
