Putting it on the calendar. Get the word out.

Oh, great time to teach fiscal responsibility, Dad. Your mother would surely want you to visit, wouldn't she? Can't she chip in a couple hundy? Do we need to get a collection plate together for you?

This is true as does everyone else who is hurt/angry about this show being out of reach after getting let down by the NYC show. It's a completely natural response! Please be easy on the wounded. At least give us time to sleep on it before we can be happy for those who CAN go.

JOSH2003-Louie's comment is EXACTLY why I think this show is The Webster show in disguise.

I live in the bay area, not LA, but it's still close enough to make this really, REALLY disappointing. My best friend has a place down there so all I'd have to buy is a ****ing plane ticket and concert ticket. So what, $300 at the end of the day? How infuriating after going all the way to New York for this...

I've never cried over something Stevie related but I am now. God damnit Stephanie.

Well, I'm sure plenty of (silent) West Coast Ledgies are ROFL and giddy with schadenfreude now that Mama is finally showing them some love while totally bypassing the northeast. I mean, I'm bummed out that Webster Hall can't be rescheduled, but I'm happy that she is still up for doing something special for the fans. Let's try to be happy for them, even if it kills us.

I disagree. They wouldn;t have 2 of the same kind of show. I think this is the new Webster intimate venue show that was planned for NY and is now being planned for LA. I would wager that Webster will never happen, especially now that this LA show is in the works. I had tickets for Webster and was looking forward to something special. I used to live in LA and there are intimate shows that pop up all of the time. Having something like Webster in NY was going to be a real one in a lifetime situation.

Um, when was the last time she did an intimate show in LA? Like, um... 17 years ago? And it's not like there aren't all kinds of special things that happen in NY such as the B&N signing... I think we have it much better here overall.

I'm not giving up hope yet. I have stuff I can sell, just probably not in time for this show.

The thing is (logically speaking) if she were going to make up for the Webster Hall show which would have taken place on the east coast, why would she make up for it on the opposite coast? That's why I think it was already planned in advance, because it really wouldn't make sense at all to do it that way. I would imagine she realizes it's not possible for everyone to coast hop for events like these.

[QUOTE=StevieRox81;981379]If the show at The Webster had never been scheduled, the fact that she is doing this new show would not have bothered me at all. Stevie is only human and I am not upset with her at all for BEING human and getting sick at an unfortunate time that caused The Webster and The Borgata shows to be cancelled.

What I am upset about is the timing of this new show with the recent cancellation of The Webster. I understand scheduling wise it probably works best for Stevie to do something on the West coast this month. But this is not what you do after you release a press statement that you, "hope to reschedule," and then reschedule The Webster show "in disguise" now as Stevie's birthday party across the country.

I feel completely burned as a fan by her management. [/QUO

Girl I hear ya! Super happy for the fans that get to go but super pissed that the press releases did say hope to reschedule. Refunds are great but reschedules are better. I guess we have good ole useless money hungry Liz to thank for this one. Thanks Liz and the rest of the management for not having the 2 east coast shows rescheduled!

So who wants to start the donation fund for Dani and I to go?

I'm sick right now.
