Stevie in The New Yorker!

I thought it was not a very interesting or helpful article. Some of the descriptions might have seemed, to use the writer's phrase, "felicitous", but that's such an obvious post-Pauline (Kael) way of writing. I don't get how one paragraph to another relates to any particular insight as to why Stevie remains in our heads, the subject of the out-of-nowhere last paragraph, or the worth (or lack) of the new album.
