Agree Agree Agree...I feel Dave's strength is he gave shape and form to stevie's music without all the sentimental sap....I love Stevies stories of ghosts and angels and gypsies are beautiful but Dave brought a masculine energy that gave the music balance....I would have loved to see what Dave could have done with quirky, overly personal songs like Welcome to the room, Sara...he may have tossed them out from the start!

I'm inclined to agree about Cheaper Than Free but there is no way in hell .heaven or purgatory that Stevie Nicks would ever have allowed even the thought of Soldier's Angel being cut from IYD.

After now having heard the NEW version of My Heart I think I prefer it... although I like the slow verse on the "old" TISL version at the beginning of the song better.

I finally got my barnes and noble version today. I don't have a habit of listening to a lot of demos, so I really had nothing to compare it to. I kinda gave up on demos after Lindsey slaughtered " Not Make Believe " on SYW.

After one listen i think its ok. Maybe I need a few more to really evaluate it. BUT- I love the extra pics they added to the booklet.

the new version is growing on me...I still think I like the first version better, but yesterday I found myself singing along to the new one like it WAS the old one....I wish they were even more different so I could just act like they were two different songs

I haven't heard the new My Heart yet. Hopefully it will arrive in the mail soon. Now that I've listened to the album a dozen times, at least I have something else to look forward to! After that, I hope we get another new b-side. Speaking of that, has there been any CD singles released?

I ordered the WB version just BECAUSE this song was included on it. I loved the outtake, the TISL version is just perfect.
I have a knot in my stomach if this isn't as good as that one though, because I've held off buying it so far.... And still waiting for my copy to come in

Those "oooh yeahs" taking turns wafting in from alternate speakers are such a delicious part of the song.

This should not have been just a bonus track.

Well, heard the hyped song today... (it's on You Tube) and cannot say that I am thrilled about it. To me it sounds a bit overproduced....I prefer the TISL-outtake.

Default well..

hopefully I'll finally get to hear My Heart today. I went to the B&N in Georgetown yesterday and they only had 3 copies of the regular version - the clerk said they sold out of their exclusive version.. When I asked the clerk about it he called the cd "something dreams with the white horse on the cover.." He mentioned they had sold quite a few copies of the cd.. both regular and exclusive..

I'm trying the B&N downtown today... excited about hearing it...

Well I finally got my BN copy yesterday as I went to the store to get it. I just listend to it now. Its not bad but I do think its somewhat similar to the TISL recording. Its nice to have it offically but I think theres more 'passion' in her vocals on the TISL version. So I guess I'll always love the TISL version a little bit more. I'll listen to it more so we'll see.
